Hekma Sentinels
Creature — Human Cleric
Whenever you cycle or discard a card, Hekma Sentinels gets +1/+1 until end of turn.

This looks fun...keep working on it...Izzet is tricky, must find balance. Bloodmad Vampire and Hekma Sentinels are underwhelming unless you can run some evasion like Slip Through Space or Distortion Strike. I am running a 50% similar build..it's a madness/tempo build using Aquamoeba as a discard outlet: Aqua-Madness. I am considering Cunning Survivor for it (thanks to you!).

I've been looking for a way to make Library do something crazy. This is really cool - albeit I'm not sure what the end goal is; huge Hekma Sentinels out of nowhere? Rites of Initiation to make your team huge and hard to deal with? Is this a slice of everything sort of deck? I love the idea, I think it'd be hilarious to slip Burning Inquiry or Cathartic Reunion into the deck as there's basically no downside for you.

Also, I would highly recommend more discard outlets. I'm not sure how often you'll be able to get value from Seeker of Insight with only 17 sources of non-creature. If I were you, I would cut them, Hekma Sentinels, and Flameblade Adept for Bomat Courier, Champion of Wits and Cathartic Reunion. Maybe some number of Hieroglyphic Illumination is correct here since you can cycle it to trigger Hollow and Haven. Maybe swap those for the Cartouche?

Also the riverwinder. Over all your deck is too high cost so you have a huge gap until mid to late game.Hekma Sentinels

I'm considering adding Hieroglyphic Illuminations over the Hekma Sentinels so I can more consistently get New Perspectives triggered and top deck cards I can cycle.

WowzerBowzer Try using Hollow One instead of Hekma Sentinels. It is just generally better, and I agree that you should definitely use the sphinx. Also, why aren't you already using Drake Haven instead of that?

Hey friend! Love the deck idea; I've been toying with something similar myself.
If I were you, I would take out all three Hekma Sentinels for Censor, since you get some early tempo and additional discard outlets from Censor, and the Sentinels have no evasion and are fairly slow. I'd also take out Throne of the God-Pharaoh, since it doesn't seem like an awesome investment of mana in an aggro-control deck like this (but maybe your playtesting proves otherwise). I'd also remove Renegade Map in lieu of more cycling cards such as Scarab Feast and Curator of Mysteries and Hieroglyphic Illumination -- for the same amount of mana, you'll still reach land drops faster and you'll also have live draws late game (Feast in particular is spicy tech against the kind of Zombie deck that just won a Pro Tour). Or, if you're just wanting discard outlets to be triggered before combat, maybe Sinister Concoction or Forgotten Creation.
I hope this helps! Let me know if I can do anything to explain choices or clarify my feedback. Best of luck brewing!
