Ghired's Belligerence deals X damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures. Whenever a creature dealt damage this way is put into the graveyard from the battlefield this turn, populate. (Create a token that's a copy of a creature token you control.)

Ghired's Belligerence Discussion

Cool deck! You might like these: Elemental Bond, Cauldron of Souls, Panharmonicon, Death's Presence, Bramble Sovereign, Minion Reflector, Lovisa Coldeyes, Twinflame, Heat Shimmer, Mimic Vat, Mirage Mirror, Angrath's Marauders, Fiendish Duo, Hissing Iguanar, Vigilante Justice, Ghired's Belligerence

Idk, I think mana at that point is really just useful in Commander, which is good so it doesn't hurt other formats. It's also really good and strong with Doubling Season, but isn't overpowered because cards like AEtherize, Toxic Deluge, Evacuation, Black Sun's Zenith, etc. can be such big blowouts. The fact it can be countered makes it pretty useful!
Honestly, I can't think of a way to break the -4, despite trying. The best I have is Dualcaster Mage and a Druid's Deliverance, Full Flowering, or Ghired's Belligerence. All of those are pretty tame considering the mage already went infinite with Heat Shimmer well before this walker. Still some strong but not op idea!

Alright, it's rhino time.
There are quite a few things I would recommend here.
First off, fourteen taplands!? Come on. Ghired deserves better than that! I'd either run more basics for the sake of your ramp or upgrade the nonbasics.
Part One - Things that cost too much to cast and/or don't do much:
Part Two - Just for any deck:
Can your deck generate green and red mana? Then play Decimate. Do it. It has literally never felt dead. It murders four things at the cost of one card. It is a bloody wrath. Furthermore, if you take from everybody you are less likely to be targeted. I once hit a Dimir Aqueduct, Conjurer's Closet, Phyrexian Arena, and Elesh Norn. Fifteen mana gone in an instant.
Once Upon a Time is a card I run in any green deck. It's great all the time.
Hero of Bladehold has come to murder everyone. She does her job.
Purphoros has come to murder everyone. He always does his job.
Given how few basics you run, Field of the Dead is a splendid inclusion. It's far better than it reads, and it reads of dint.
That's it! Farewell! CRUSH EVERYONE!
I have my own token deck here if you care to see it.

Hi, doddlm. I've looked at your Brudiclad decklist and it look solid overall, but I have a few suggestions on what can make it better. The only major thing that comes to mind is that I think you have too few big payoff cards (6) for Brudiclad to multiply and too many little token set-up cards (23). My opinion is that (little tokens)- to – (big tokens) – to – (copy effects) has to be roughly equivalent with each category having at last 10+ cards. As far as card choices go there are some that don't make enough in EDH and you might consider replacing them with something else.
What to consider to remove Show
Ghired's Belligerence – I tried it, didn't work out for me, but you have a lot more of 1/1 guys that can be pinged for populate so it can work for you if you keep close to current ratios.
Nevermaker – Feels like the payoff is too small. When you are in a pinch you can't even sacrifice it to remove something as you don't have sac outlet. Spell Swindle – not a fan of it, not gonna lie. I just don't like sitting with 5 open mana.
What to consider to add: Show
Vandalblast – you can remove one of the 2 boardwipes I mentioned for this.
More salt for your opponents: Timestream Navigator – If copies into a token goes infinite turn lock with Brudiclad
Hope this answer isn't too long and you find it helpful! I'll also enable chat in case you have more questions. Cheers, mate!

This is great for a first EDH. You might like these: Launch the Fleet (seems fun with Zada and Aurelia), Seize the Day , Ephemeral Shields , Twinflame , Heat Shimmer , Ghired's Belligerence , Volcanic Wind , Impact Resonance , Magnetic Theft (cheap way to re-equip Sunforger), Gideon's Sacrifice (combos with Arcbond + a spell that gives indestructible for infinite damage), Martyrdom , Kor Chant
