Gaze of Justice Discussion

for a budget option for Path to Exile you can try Gaze of Justice since you'll have plenty of untapped creatures to use. I would also consider any dual lands.

Mutagenic Growth & Apostle's Blessing could help you get your life down to 5 quicker, if you actually want to go that route. =D

I love +1/+1 counters decks, and I've used a lot of these cards before, so it's almost like looking down memory lane here, lol.

The only thing I really want to say here is that some Flashback in the deck would be nice. something like Thrill of the Hunt or Travel Preparations would be cool, but maybe also Acorn Harvest, Battle Screech, Folk Medicine, Gaze of Justice, Sylvan Might, etc. etc. You could probably remove 2 and 2 of Scatter the Seeds and Gather the Townsfolk to make room if you wanted (or just drop Scatter altogether).

what needs improving? Speed? Protection against removal?

Hey N4kk1 and enpc. Thanks a lot for the feedback. This decks are more casual and not really competitive intended, although i like them to be as smooth as possible.

On the Budget affinity I will add Cranial Plating to 4 and Ghirapur AEther Grid seems like a nice addition to the sidedeck. I did consider Blinkmoth Nexus but it is still a bit too much for my low budget since a play set of those ($20) is over half my entire budget for a deck. Tempered Steel also seems like a very neet adition. I had seen it but wasn't sure about it. I will try running 2 of them (my budget limits me here again) and if it does works I will try saving up a little bit for a playset.

Regarding everything else. I gotta say this hurt me hard u.u . Although the Infect deck might be dead due to Fatal Push, I have to say am still a sucker for it and it is really fun when am killing my friends on turn 2 and there faces seen simpy confused.

Path to Exile is a staple which I love but can't afford. Am looking for other options like Oust, Condemn, Sunlance, Reciprocate, Gaze of Justice or even Swords to Plowshares. Icatian Javelineers is a card which I saw in some Soldier decks but might be better just going for Thraben Inspector as a solid 1 drop.

Finally on the Pseudoaristocrats deck I moved up the number of drainers and am trying to make it more of a 2/4 balance than 3 of each. Am still figuring out how to make it work out but am sure I am on track. It is a shame Fatal Push is so expensive or I will be running 4 as a no brainer.

If you did, I glazed over that, and for that, I apologize.

However, does your variant allow for Momentary Blink's Flashback cost to be out of color of your commander? If it doesn't, then you may want to consider Cloudshift, Acrobatic Maneuver, Journey to Nowhere or even Gaze of Justice if you want the last two to be more offensive removal, rather than flickering something of yours.

Hey the.beanpole! Thanks for your comment!

I agree, Eliminate the Competition and Gaze of Justice have been removed, in favor of Darkest Hour and Ashnod's Altar.

Leonin Relic-Warder actually looks really great! Thank you! On a scale of 1 to 10, how worthwhile do you consider Voldaren Pariah  Flip to be? Twilight Drover was removed because it was a bit slow, but with Ashnod's that may change.

Enduring Renewal looks great, but I don't really care to cast artifacts, even if I can sac em.

Eliminate the Competition and Gaze of Justice seem a little redundant with what your commander is doing. I generally try to stay away from one-shot effects in this format unless they are really back-breaking or X-for-1s or something. Revoke Existence could easily be Leonin Relic-Warder to give you extra-sac fodder that still perma exiles if you time it right. I also play Voldaren Pariah  Flip in my Teysa deck. Twilight Drover is always good in token decks, especially Teysa, and provides a mana sink as well. There is also the Enduring Renewal + Ornithopter/Memnite/Phyrexian Walker combo that goes "infinite" with any of your free sac outlets.
