Furnace Celebration

Enchantment

Whenever you sacrifice another permanent, you may pay . If you do, Furnace Celebration deals 2 damage to target creature, player or planeswalker.

Have you considered Furnace Celebration or Lyzolda, the Blood Witch?

Both fit your sacrifice theme.

Thanks for posting Kcin. Both suggestions are on point, but I’m thinking that Furnace Celebration is better suited to EDH, or a format like Vintage where fast mana is more readily abundant. Lyzolda already requires as things stand and I’d wager I just won’t have the extra mana available to take advantage of this one.

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus has me more excited. I’m going to maybeboard that for now—4 mana is possible in Modern, and could drastically speed up TTK. Thanks for posting!

Since, my deck has given you some inspiration... Let me suggest:

Furnace Celebration

Solphim, Mayhem Dominus

For extra Spice. +1 from me.

Upon trying to lower your cmc a thing I'm big about in commander I've copied and been playing around with the list a few interesting ideas to fit your deck came with it however I feel like I've gone away somewhat from the Fling idea.

From doing this, I'd highly suggest damage Doubling effects. It makes the Fling kill possible. Haste is important and perhaps Bedlam for no blocks although I could not find room for it. Treasure Chest reanimation every turn from your goblin artificers is a really cool line. Furnace Celebration and Havoc Jester are removal and a wincon if you have enough treasures to sac. Arcbond is not a Fling but hits all players and can sometimes be boardwipe sometimes a end game with draw depending on how its used.

I can explain other things I changed if you want. Maybe board are a few things I cut while bringing it back down to 100 total. Maraxus of Keld Pump & Dump copy

I don't know exactly how it would fit here, but in my Rakdos sacrifice deck, Furnace Celebration puts in work.

+1 from me!

I forgot that you would discarding skelemental a lot of the time, so 8 duals is probably enough. Of course, it isn't optimal, but no one wants to burn 40 extra bucks just to improve their manabase by a little.

For another discard outlet, Bone Shards seems like it would work really well here and could probably replace some copies of axe. It's sorcery speed, but it destroys all creatures unconditionally, can be a discard outlet, and you can also cast it in your second main phase and sacrifice something that you reanimated with thunderkin.

Furnace Celebration and Where Ancients Tread have cute synergy but they are too slow for modern, I'd cut them. That probably makes Vessel of Volatility unneeded as well. To replace them, I suggest some Lightning Bolt for additional removal and to help burn out your opponent midgame, plus some hand disruption in Inquisition of Kozilek so you have more turn 1 plays besides flamekin.

Hey Saccox! Thanks for the suggestions! Ooo, I do really like Mayhem Devil - He's certainly more efficient than Furnace Celebration . I'm just worried about creature ratio. Would you suggest subbing him in for any of the creatures, or adding 3-4 of him in for a total of 24?

Your opinion means a lot! You're the modern budget master! Thanks for the help :)
