Fungal Bloom Discussion

ExiliusGallant on Sprout (Tiny Fungi)

WHAT?! No Fungal Bloom...

Maybe Rot Shambler might work... also try Vampiric Rites and lastly Sprout Swarm

Fungus Sliver is just another fungus. There are only 34 fungus creatures in the whole game so can't be too picky. :D

And hey, as bad as a that single sliver is, it's still strictly better than Fungusaur! Maybe some day we get new and better mushrooms to replace these janky creatures but in the meantime it's enough to have at least some synergy with Thelon and Fungal Bloom.

Keeping with the spore theme, Doubling Season expensive but doubles spore counters and saprolings produced. I usually prefer Blood Artist over Zulaport Cutthroat, but depends on format

Essence Warden or Leyline of Vitality can keep you going while you build up a bit.
Sprout Swarm usually bad but ok if your living on the draw

Spore decks have a lot of tempting but bad options like Life and Limb and Verdant Embrace Or if you can break into legacy Saproling Symbiosis and Fungal Bloom, can make fun things happen.

Life and Limb + Sporemound combos but you need to stop it. Zulaport Cutthroat and any form a sac is a win. or Deathspore Thallid works. Grave Pact if we are being more serious, really just depends on what the deck is for

Ahh, Thallids, blast from the past... Where's the Fungal Bloom? With all the doubling effects that would be mad :)

I like Psychotrope Thallid. Didn't think I needed card advantage until I started playing online. However, Nemata, Grove Guardian and Fungal Bloom are both illegal in modern. I can see their utility though :)
