Chaostrash on Kresh el Rasta

A lot of the maybeboard has cards you should really consider, I have a Kresh deck of my own, if you want to check it out, be my guest. Some cards you don't have include Boneyard Parley, Vona's Hunger, Victimize, Sprouting Thrinax, Essence Harvest, Mage Slayer, Flesh, Death's Presence, I could go on with this

Neotrup on Does Ramos see both halves ...

For example, Flesh would give Ramos, Dragon Engine 2 counters, Blood would also give 2 counters, but Flesh and Blood would only give 3 counters.

The only other 3 split cards I think can be manipulated well with Kari Zev's Expertise, specifically, are Flesh/Blood, Boom/Bust, and Research/Development, the outliers are Ancestral Vision and Wheel of Fate. Armed/Dangerous is situational against infect-using decks, usually. Again, that is other. All modern split cards link

Hit/Run or Pure/Simple might be playable off Yahenni's Expertise or Sram's Expertise, but probably not. Commands are probably better.

Mandalorian on Ascendancy deck, third turn win.

Damn, that was scarcastic salty reply man, sorry I didn't catch that part of the description. Im more than happy to help and suggest ideas, I just normally start with legalities when I run into a deck like this is all.

I played the combo for quite some time in Standard but havnt played it much in Modern. I do know your going to want more mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Sylvan Caryatid. Your also going to want to hold back on the countermagic since playing cards like that will mean your not being as proactive on your turn, something the deck furiously needs to do to win. Instead of Dig Through Time and Treasure Cruise you can play cards like Think Twice, Sleight of Hand, Serum Visions, Faithless Looting, Ideas Unbound, and Gitaxian Probe. They are obviously not as good but they do the job. The point is to play as many spells as possible for a sort of "storm" like win. You could kill someone with a Flesh, a Grapeshot, or just attacking with a huge Birds of Paradise or Fatestitcher.

Cut the illegal cards, the interactive cards like Remand and Lightning Bolt and play cheap draw spells to dig for combo pieces and win cons.

Not saying you have to copy the list card for card but there was actually a article written about the deck today! Its pretty interesting and may give you some ideas for making the deck functional while still being legal.

Hope this Helps!

LiveForChaos you can't cast Blood then Flesh unless you have two copies in hand. The spells resolve in the order of Flesh then Blood if you fuse them.

Alternatively:

Turn 1 - Mountain, Vexing Devil

Turn 2 - Mountain, Warren Instigator

Turn 3 - Forest, Blood ~ targeting Warren Instigator to deal our opponent 1 damage putting Goblin Dark-Dweller in play, cast Flesh, getting counters from Vexing Devil.

Another idea for using Goblin Dark-Dwellers...

Turn 1 - Mountain, Shriekhorn ~ mill self for 2

Turn 2 - Mountain, Warren Instigator ~ mill self for 2

Turn 3 - Forest, Blood ~ targeting Warren Instigator and dealing opponent 1 damage putting Goblin Dark-Dweller in play, cast Flesh, getting counters from Death's Shadow or Force of Savagery onto Warren Instigator.
