for starters you could cut down on creatures like: Aether Poisoner, Child of Night, Daggerdrome Imp, Deathgaze Cockatrice, Farbog Revenant, Feral Abomination, Fetid Imp, Flensermite, Giant Scorpion, Hand of Silumgar, Hired Poisoner, Markov Patrician, Maze Abomination, Moonglove Changeling, Moonglove Winnower, Nirkana Assassin, Queen's Agent, Rancid Rats, Ruin Rat, Scrounger of Souls, Sidisi's Pet, Skittering Heartstopper Vampire Champion and replace others for: Black Cat, Burglar Rat, Cadaver Imp, Liliana's Specter, Ravenous Rats, Twisted Abomination, Gurmag Angler but would compite with Shambling Attendants for the gy. some usefuls spells you might replace or add cound be: Blessing of Leeches, Sadistic Glee, Soul Channeling, Ashes to Ashes, Evincar's Justice, Shred Memory, Dark Bargain, maybe Crypt Incursion. im out of ideas for cards, for now, and you could add more artifact ramp or artifact that can be creatures like Guardian Idol, Wayfarer's Bauble is in every deck i play, Relic of Progenitus and Nihil Spellbomb are always good gy hate.

Overall a very solid deck, though you might want to consider replacing Feral Abomination with Tetzimoc, Primal Death, and Skittering Heartstopper with Isareth the Awakener. Tetzimoc, Primal Death, while legendary, is stronger, and it's ability in your hand can be useful against any non-control deck. Isareth the Awakener can help in the grindier games by allowing you to return other creatures that have already died. Also for grindier games, Find / Finality and Golgari Findbroker are worth consideration in the sideboard. Also Golden Demise/Mephitic Vapors/Ritual of Soot in the sideboard for tokens would be pretty good.
As far as budget options, the Statue portion of Status / Statue takes care of most permanents. Cast Down/Walk the Plank will work pretty well against most decks, though Murder is a better creature catchall. And maybe sideboard Plaguecrafter or The Eldest Reborn for planeswalkers. Golgari Guildgate and Foul Orchard can replace Woodland Cemetery and Overgrown Tomb, but then your deck won't be very competitive.

I was poking around ideas for a theme deck when this subject caught my eye. What exactly is a lich lord, and how does somebody become one? I believe it's more than just being a powerful lich. It requires control of a ton of black mana to become a Lich, even a nefarious one, but all the lich lords depicted in cards require green or blue mana. Lich Lord of Unx, Kheru Lich Lord, Dralnu, Lich Lord, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord are all in Sultai-ish colors. Additionally, they represent this theme across four different planes. Zul Ashur, Lich Lord appears in a lot of flavor text, but doesn't really seem to have any story. Mister Lostspoons says that it's possible for multiple lich lords to coexist, in the flavor text for Feral Abomination. This is reinforced by two of the four lich lords being nonlegendary, although the one from that plane is legendary.
I don't have a comprehensive theory to tie this all together yet. Can anybody else shed some light on the topic, or at least throw in an entertaining guess?
