Nice Deck! I tried to build my own Treefolk-Tribal, but never got my hands on the Cards i needed. Whats youre thougth about Faeburrow Elder for Ramp? And since you run 3 Colors you could also incloud Umbral Mantle which goes infinity on Faeburrow Elder .

Colfenor, the Last Yew could also be an good extension, but is a little bit high CMC. But this should be no Problem in a Treefolk-Tirbal. Im not quite sure if he is modern Legal.

And Battlewand Oak could smash your opponents together with Everbark Shaman .

What are thoughts about them?

Note, I did try some bigger treefolk like Redwood Treefolk because I was excited about the interaction with the Treefolk Umbra but it just cost too much mana and was too slow in pauper. There are way too many removal, exile, or bounce spells in my opponent’s decks, and they would be full speed before I could even get going. I think Everbark Shaman might be in the same class unfortunately.

Hi Cheerful_Zucchini, thank you for the corrections and great suggestions. As for Abundant Growth , I was confused about the wording thinking it added a mana (but it’s just color fixing) and trying to figure out some card draw. There are a lot of decks that can quickly outclass this brew in that area. Perhaps Lead the Stampede will go in?

Everbark Shaman ’s interaction with Battlewand Oak is cool, and I am going to give some thought about how to fit it in. Thanks again.

Cool take on a treefolk deck! I love the trees so much :) I'm not sure what purpose Abundant Growth serves beyond card draw, however. I would also like to point out that the Banneret reduces costs by a colorless mana so Essence Warden won't hit the field for free, her creature type doesn't help you unfortunately.

Might I suggest you include some Everbark Shaman ? You won't need a full playset since it's so expensive in CMC, but he's best friends with Battlewand!

@ersatz_olorin those are some pretty sweet suggestions, though I'm trying not to pull it towards treefolk tribal (why Everbark Shaman didn't make the cut cause i feel i dont run enough to warrent them. same reason for the Elder. also since it's three colors been gearing away from things that involve forests you control because that's just bad deckbuilding. SHocks and duals are technically in my budget but i'm building this off of my friends budget of $150 or less for the deck so if she wants to update the landbase after that would be on her. Hope this gives some insight on the reasonings behind that. The main reason i've been avoiding just tribal for Doran is because it's ... not the greatest tribe and i'm trying to make the deck actually viable in a random non cedh playgroup thats interchangable and not just immediately stomped

Dauntless Dourbark for maximum smash, Everbark Shaman for crazy ramp (notice that doesn't say basic lands, get duals and shocks if they're in your budget and if not you can still grab murmuring bosk), and Leaf-Crowned Elder is insane.

Treefolk Seedlings and Kalonian Twingrove are two more smash-tastic creatures

Mentor of the Meek, Hero's Resolve, for the budget goodness of this deck. Toxic Deluge, Austere Command as more expensive removal (TD is also really great with Tree of Redemption/Perdition because you can put them at less than 13, have a board wipe including eldrazi legends, AND swing 13 the next turn.).Big Game Hunter and Intrepid Hero for flavor.Doing a little research, Leaf-Crowned Elder and/or Descendants' Path is epic with your heavy-hitting trees for free. Finally (and this is a new one for me, too): Everbark Shaman! Someone kills your commander? Send it to the GY, then exile it (to the command zone) for two (non-basic) forests! Sadly, it has 3 power so it gets messed up with Meekstone out.

Oooooh so many good suggestions!

I looked at Dungrove Elder and Everbark Shaman but settled on Kalonian Twingrove because I was trying to keep the price down a little. I think I can go ahead and add one now without going over board.

I can definitely fit Treefolk Harbinger in.

Concerning all the other creatures I'm considering running only 1x of all the creatures and higher, that way I can fit a lot of other Treefolk in. Defiantly want multiples of Bosk Banneret and Sakura-Tribe Elder.

Those spells look nice I'll have to see what I can fit in. How many land do you think I could run comfortably? Should I stay 24?

As usual you have great suggestions Bobba Sensei! Thanks a lot!
