I found some cool things when trying to find human solders. Brave the Elements could save your creatures from some hate, or a free blocking turn. you could also use Cloudshift to flicker Captain of the Watch or Ranger of Eos for extra triggers.

MindAblaze, absolutely! Do you already have a gameplan in mind, or would you like suggestions for a deck direction from me?
Because either way, I'm assuming that the idea is to flip Kytheon as soon as possible (turn 3-4) and then spam board wipes after activating his 0 or +1 to protect him or other creatures.
If that's the case, you want two other creatures by turn 3-4 to attack with so that he flips. Those creatures will probably die (this is commander, after all), but a worthy sacrifice to get a flipped Kytheon, I think. Activate his +2, and I think 5 loyalty is a good place to be for turn 3-4.
Those two creatures can be two tokens made via a 2-3 drop (4+ drops are too slow!), and I have put them here for your convenience:

- Gather the Townsfolk
- Raise the Alarm

Going wide in Boros? Soldier tribal? I'll suggest some cards to cut in your current list. Keep in mind these are suggestions and I don't expect you to accept them without thinking (saying regarding the battleshaper particularly; he's more okay than the others).
These cards are generally too small scale to make a difference. You need to be thinking larger scale than this.
- Bomber Corps
- Boros Battleshaper (very expensive, can be played around by opponent)
- Boros Elite
- Conclave Phalanx (expensive, one-time ETB)
- Duergar Assailant
- Razia, Boros Archangel (incredibly expensive for her effectiveness; you are likely to not be able to play her when she'd matter)
- First Response (small effect, controlled by opponent actions)
- Boros Cluestone (much better alternatives exist for <50 cents)
- Captain's Call
- Even the Odds (small, controlled by opponents - note because of the phrasing, you likely can't use it at all when some low creature decks are present)
- Raise the Alarm
There are some other iffy ones but seems like a good start.
At base, I'd look to increase boardwipes a lot. Should have at least four. A fast Boros deck throws threats at the board fast; it should be able to recover from a boardwipe quickly. If someone is actually faster, you can open with a cheap boardwipe on T3-5 and THEN start playing the real threats, letting everyone's Llanowar Elves and Serra Ascendants bite the dust.

ComboCrazy Well, there is a lot of good generators for turn 2/3, but I'll just list some of the best ones. Gather the Townsfolk, Timely Reinforcements, Even the Odds, Master's Call (Myr!!!), Raise the Alarm, and, my personal preference Promise of Bunrei.
