Hey channelfireball12345, thank you for your comments! Nullpriest of Oblivion is definitely an option for this build. It’s a good reanimation target for Inscription of Ruin and Lurrus of the Dream-Den. I’ve considered cutting Mire Tritons for the Nullpriests, but the Tritons provide deathtouch, immediate lifegain, and self-mill, and the self-mill is critical for this deck to function. I could also make room for the Nullpriests by swapping out some utility cards for it like Escape Velocity or Thrill of Possibility.

Another issue is that I’ve optimized the list for maximizing Call of the Death-Dweller, so I have chosen not to mainboard any creatures over 3 CMC. My only big creatures are Massacre Wurms on the sideboard, but that may change as I do more testing. The Nullpriest costs 6 mana when fully kicked, and I think this is prohibitively expensive in this build. From my experience, reaching 6 mana can be difficult unless the game goes long (my previous build didn’t run anything beyond 5 CMC), and I would rather run the Wurms or more Inscription of Ruin because of its versatility (being able to discard 2 is very useful to make Nighthawk Scavengers grow). Plus Liliana, Waker of the Dead’s ultimate is achievable and helps bring back creatures during the late game.

To make the Nullpriest more worthwhile from a cost/benefit analysis perspective, I would include it in a control deck running more expensive creatures, more lands, and more disruption so I could take advantage of its full potential. However, I am not dismissing the Nullpriest in this build quite yet. Lots of testing needs to be done.

And I agree about Gruesome Menagerie, that card was really interesting, but the Standard card pool made it difficult to utilize it effectively. When I had 5 mana available, I always wanted to play Doom Whisperer instead. Maybe it can find a place in Pioneer in a golgari build with lots of self mill and ramping, or something similar.

Quick note since I'm already doing some reasearch and i've been studying cards on Scryfall for the last hour (lol) Escape Velocity could potentially be better and naturally takes the spot when the current velocity rotates out (btw this deck is really rotation-proof. Most pieces stay. Doom Whisperer rotation will hurt(Massacre Wurm is the best thing apart from it) since it's a good card and Bedevil is really strong as well but I hope some new pieces will come soon enough). I've been fiddling with the deathtouch thinking there could be some potential for Hooded Blightfang but there's simply no room and haste is a must be since creating a 5/5 leaves him for certain death. After more playtesting, I must say Mire Triton does its job really, really well and 4-of is a must. Call of the Death-Dweller doesn't rotate and is better than Revival//Revenge in many situations (recurring Triton and creating a 5/5 is a good tempo swing). Unleash Fury could be a nice card, too, because there are often good targets. There are many situations where you swing with a 9/7 Kroxa - but this can be unreliable and needs some more testing.

Liliana is very useful and is a reliable removal when she resolves. The manabase is fine, but maybe one more mountain would be good. Sometimes you need RRR to cast and recast Kroxa. Speaking of Kroxa, it fits the deck very well and there's good synergy with Liliana. I'd consider having a third copy of her but time will tell. This is it for now, I'll keep playing and I'll let you know in a few days after i've tried a couple of new things. This deck actually has potential!

If you're running Shielded by Faith, I'd run Siona, Captain of the Pyleas too (for the combo).

If you're running Bear Umbra, I'd probably run Hellkite Charger too (for the combo).

I'd cut Brave the Sands, and AEther Web as they don't offer relevant evasion for Messenger's Speed, and Madcap Skills. I'd cut Runes of the Deus and Eldrazi Conscription as they're too expensive for Setessan Training and Angelic Gift.

I'd also consider replacing Three Dreams and Winds of Rath with Gravitic Punch and Chandra's Ignition.

The +1 of Garruk Wildspeaker (alongside all the Enchantresses) makes me think you should run more things like Trace of Abundance (rather than things like Darksteel Ingot), but they don't play well with Realm Razer.

Things like Escape Velocity, Talons of Wildwood and Gryff's Boon help you rebuild after a boardwipe.

I like Angelic Gift and Setessan Training because they replace themselves and offer evasion.

Escape Velocity and Gryff's Boon help you rebuild / mitigate the impact of enchanting a Kor Spiritdancer or Champion of the Flame in the early game.

I'd rather Boros Charm over True Conviction, as it's very expensive.

I'd rather Gravitic Punch or Chandra's Ignition over Plea for Guidance or Single Combat, as you may as well just win the game at that point.

Love the deck. Was wondering if reason you run Mark of Fury over Instill Energy or Escape Velocity is so you could cast it on some of the other tap for mana creature cards in the deck, when extra mana needed, as opposed to its sole purpose being to attach to Uril? Also wondered how you feel about putting in Kenrith's Transformation, instead of Generous Gift or Beast Within? Is one mana less, you lose instant ability, but gain the card draw from enchantress and others and from the card itself. Also curious about using Gift of Immortality? Or with other guards in deck are you not too worried about Uril getting removed enough to justify taking out a more efficient cheaper aura for it? Also have gone back and forth between Slayers' Stronghold and Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion. Destiny Spinner is one of the new Theros cards I threw in (great value) and I replaced Bloom Tender with Dryad of the Ilysian Grove. Also have my eye on Transcendent Envoy and Setessan Champion as well...Love to hear your thoughts, your deck is awesome. Smash, smash, smash.
