Might be a good idea to put a decent Warrior or 2 in the deck. Just in case. Some good ones might be Aven Wind Guide, Aven Gagglemaster, Aven Skirmisher, Aven Sunstriker, Avenging Huntbonder, Dauntless Aven, and Emeria Captain. Or just don't. But it might be good to include a few so that ability on your commander isn't completely useless.

Here's a few suggestions to get started with cutting.
Candlelight Vigil (use Sentinel's Eyes instead)
A few others to consider: Serra Ascendant as well as Felidar Guardian
Light of Hope fits your themes as well
Aetherflux Reservoir can be a wincon as well as slow your casting life loss
Endless Atlas and Well of Lost Dreams for card draw
Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves for commander protection
