Druid of Horns

Creature — Human Druid

Whenever you cast an Aura spell that targets Druid of Horns, create a 3/3 green Beast creature token.

I played a version with the suggested modifications over the weekend and I like the way it's going.

I found the first strike in Dub to be surprisingly relevant when put on Vine Mare, the lower toughness is definitely a draw back but it helps with that.

Also, I switched out the Druid of Horns with a play set of Jade Guardian, the hexproof is definitely needed, but I'm concerned with the adding more to my top end if I also include Shalai, Voice of Plenty , especially because she doesn't protect herself.

The Druid of Horns is good if you get it out early enough, the beasts are great chump blockers against other aggro strategies, but they have been moved to the side board.

Oh, I thought you had Knight's Pledge's. Novice Knight becomes so good if you have both in 4 times. I do think that Druid of Horns is good if you "missed" early game, also he isn't as effective if you can't give him Hexproof. For that purpose, I recommend Shalai, Voice of Plenty ! It's really good to give Hexproof to all your creatures, and she's in the right colors too. Also, I'm about to try a Rogue list, with 3-4 Dub's and History of Benalia's. I'll tell you how it goes if you want to.

I've thought about Novice Knight it can still eat removal though but it is good as a blocker. I feel like Deeproot Champion does this better since he can be played on the same turn and he benefits from all enchantments.

and yep I think Dub should probably go, I was unsure about it at first but yep Oakenform seems a lot better here. My bad.

How good is Druid of Horns in this deck? I've never really found a use for him and I feel like he is the inverse of Thorn Lieutenant
