Crookshank Kobolds Discussion
If you are looking for more costed spells to cast, its hard to leave out Ornithopter, Memnite, Shield Sphere, and Phyrexian Walker. And since you're in also, you have access to Kobolds: Crimson Kobolds, Kobolds of Kher Keep, and Crookshank Kobolds. I don't know if that helps or not, but it would be fun...

Just some ideas:
Panharmonicon is a ton of fun in Purphoros decks.
Shifting Shadow has been amazing for me, but I run dragons as a sub theme in my list. It's slightly less good if you mainly run non-creatures, but can potentially deliver a shocking one-of, surprise Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre (or whatever you choose to run). Indestructible means Shifting Shadow moves on to find another creature but your indestructible creature remains.
I like running a few Wheel of Fortune effects in my list to refuel my hand.
Hangarback Walker and Walking Ballista work really well. Also, the free-drop creature cards like Ornithopter, Endless One, Crimson Kobolds, Crookshank Kobolds, Kobolds of Kher Keep, Memnite, Phyrexian Marauder, Phyrexian Walker, Shield Sphere, and Shifting Wall are good options if you have room for them and want to lower your curve.

Needs more kobolds!
+1 for weird gimicky shenanigans.

first off, Eon Hub looks like an auto-include.
second, i sense some artifact based shenanigans here to enable the kobold tribal.
here is the 5 card combo:
Kobolds of Kher Keep in hand.
cast Soul Foundry exiling Kobolds of Kher Keep from hand.
Paradox Engine and Cloudstone Curio are on the battlefield.
cast either Crookshank Kobolds or Crimson Kobolds onto the battlefield.
activate Soul Foundry for mana and create a kobold token.
Cloudstone Curio triggers. return the real Crimson Kobolds creature to hand.
recast the Crimson Kobolds. trigger Paradox Engine. untap Soul Foundry. tap, create a token, bounce kobold, repeat ad nauseum for infinite Kobolds of Kher Keep creatures.
fortunately your commander is a lord so all your 0/1 creatures are 2/3s! add in Fervor for instant win!
alternative lord cards include Coat of Arms and Orcish Oriflamme.
want to make the combo reliable? add in Daretti, Scrap Savant, Trading Post and probably some black tutor cards Demonic Tutor etc, maybeBehold the Beyond or something.
if the board is empty except for your commander Rohgahh of Kher Keep, all it takes to win this turn is: 6 cards and 15 mana.

What makes an Unplayable commander?
I'm using EDHREC'S list of Unplayable commander's. They are commander's that have less then three decks on tapped out, you can find the list here.

How does this work?
I'll randomly select a commander. I'll build the rough skeleton. You send me suggestions for weird cards for it. And we'll cut it down and ship it. Let's put the minds of the internet to the test
TLDR; What's the deck already
Because the worst tribe ever needed the worst leader ever.
So let's start with the fact that there are six kobolds in the entirety of magic.
And commander is a singleton format so normal Kobold strategy of play a bunch of free creatures doesn't really work.
So we a have a vanilla 5/5 for seven mana, four of it colored; that has a worthless ability and has an upkeep cost triple red in your two color deck.
I think this might be one of the worst on the list. And that's saying something.
Commander / EDH*
As always any Suggestions for the deck, feedback, Liking and spreadage of the word is great appreciated!
Here's the previous decks as well as a more in depth home page if you wanna follow my Insanity.

On to real suggestions, I think Flare is a decent cut, and I've come to not like Temple of the False God. Getting stuck on lands is still a huge pain though, so replacing it with a mountain, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle or Sandstone Needle could do some good work. Kuldotha Rebirth looks like a good cut as well, but I would consider the additions/changes that I'm suggesting before you pull the trigger on that. Mind Stone should be included in my opinion, and a possible Guardian Idol and Fire Diamond. Though artifact mana (especially the idol and diamond) can be clunky, they're inexpensive to play, and red isn't known for it's fast ramp options. A sweet new anti-wrath card for you would be Otherworldly Outburst, in fact I feel like most times it just upgrades your whole board... Shreds of Sanity could do some work for you as a way to recall spells, and costs less than Volcanic Vision, which I'd cut. I believe that cutting Repercussion might be the right thing to do as well, although the combo with Blasphemous Act seems awesome, the card alone doesn't have much value to you. Soul's Fire seems like a good way to take out multiple players after a buff effect, and not lose your board unless you really wanted to. Volcanic Offering seems fairly slow and not in line with your deck's plan, considering you also have Ruination coming in to deal with pesky lands. Be careful in taking out cards, as a lot of spells are coming in, none of which make creatures, except technically Insurrection gets you creatures. Given that Firestorm cannot target a creature of player more than once, I think it deserves a cut. Dropping your hand to wipe everyone is awesome, but have one less target and you can't do it. Seems like a liability. It pains me, but if you keep Rebirth, I think your next cuts should come from the Kobolds. The 0 drops are fun to throw out and suddenly just have, but the artifacts will serve you a bit better here. Myr Battlesphere should get a cut, because it's 7 mana for 5 dudes. That's not the rate you're looking for here, the deck is fairly sleek and low to the ground as is, if you're going to spend 7, you can do more. I've seen Sword of the Animist net you a few lands, but suiciding something for a land may not be what you want to do, especially at a 4 mana investment. It's very possible I'm wrong on that though.I feel like Telim'Tor's Edict is a way to sort of break parity on a wrath effect, netting you cards (also pretty sweet with Insurrection!) but you have Otherworldly Outburst for that now. I may be wrong on that too, as it feels bad to have two draw spells in the cut section... I want to mention Tormenting Voice and Cathartic Reunion, although I have no idea what you would cut for them, they can smooth out land heavy draws and get you in to additional action. It's just so damn hard to cut stuff from the list.
The next thought is to go deeper in to goblins and make use of Brightstone Ritual and Skirk Prospector for additional mana. The goblin route would let you cut a few of the clunky mana givers, but I think you'd want more goblins to take advantage of them. Assuming you have enough now, I have the suggested adds/cuts below:
Cut: Flare / Temple of the False God / Volcanic Vision / Repercussion / Firestorm / Volcanic Offering / Crimson Kobolds / Crookshank Kobolds / Kobolds of Kher Keep / Palladium Myr / Opaline Unicorn / Molten Psyche / Millikin / Myr Battlesphere / Alloy Myr / Scuttlemutt / Sword of the Animist / Telim'Tor's Edict

I feel like they should just make a rule that says any card that's printed in Modern Masters can be played in Modern. Then put in Baleful Strix, Containment Priest, Act of Authority, Arachnogenesis, Anya, Merciless Angel, Prossh, Skyraider of Kher, Darksteel Mutation, Domineering Will, Brood of Cockroaches, Crimson Kobolds, Crookshank Kobolds, Kobolds of Kher Keep and many more...
C'mon drafting Modern Masters and playing turbo fog with Arachnogenesis would be awesome and you know it!
