Cool deck! I think a lot of your burn is sub-par, however.

Staggershock is a great way to get an easy 2-for-1 in Red. I think it would be an improvement over something like Burn the Impure in most cases. I also would not leave home without Rolling Thunder . This card can turn the game around in the late game.

I have really like this card in my own red decks, and I see you also like these effects. I'd suggest Destructive Tampering instead of Ruthless Invasion . Tampering is just more versatile.

You don't seem to have much artifact/enchantment hate in your deck. Hull Breach does both for a competitive price.

It's hard enough competing with the card advantage that Blue and Black generate. I would move Entourage of Trest and maybe even Crown-Hunter Hireling .

Speaking of card advantage, Lead the Stampede is a good way to refill your hand on creatures.

I found in my games that Lightning Bolt and its ilk aren't really worth running in a multiplayer setting of PDH. They're just not cost-effective. You want to make sure that your burn can at least give you an advantage. I would prefer Firebolt over Searing Spear any day, for example.

Flame Slash > Bombard & Lightning Strike > Burn the Impure .

Maybe more creatures that get bonuses from equipment? Kitesail Apprentice , Kor Duelist , Auriok Glaivemaster , etc.

The reason I put them in was to have some stuff to use as board presence, since some of the creatures like Thermo-Alchemist are more like enchantments than creatures, but I see where you're coming from and I agree. Would you switch the Spireside Infiltrators for Fireballs or Burn the Impures? I want to get Needle Drop for this eventually, but I don't have any currently

Searing Blood, Smash to Smithereens and Burn the Impure are good sideboard options.

If your desperate for ideas, Keldon Marauders, Shard Volley and Grapeshot are alright.

@Fragalicious, I personally feel that Searing Blood makes for a better addition than Smash to Smithereens for most situations, since you never know if you are playing an artifact deck or not, at least until turn 2-3 ish. That could be a nice sideboard addition, though. Same could be said with Burn the Impure. Thunderous Wrath, while it does deal decent amounts of damage, is only useful in a Burn deck if you draw into it. As an alternative for Keldon Marauders, one can possibly throw in cards like Grapeshot.

I have had experience with playing a mono-red burn deck (my list can be found here), and it tends to be on the slow side of things, at least compared with Boros and Naya burn. If you want, you can make this a Naya burn deck and throw in cards like Wild Nacatl and Boros Charm.

You should probably go red/green dragons because you get really good ramp from green, and you can play Dragonlord Atarka and Atarka's Command.

If you go green, good sideboard options are Hellkite Tyrant, Feed the Clan, Crumble to Dust, Burn the Impure, and possibly Aligned Hedron Network.
