I might run fewer/creatures, since stickfingers will until you reveal x creatures, not just x cards. The fewer you have the higher chance you hit one that destroys the table if you just overload on ramp and reanimates. Rather than these things Crawl from the Cellar,Ghoul's Feast,Gravepurge I'd focus on just reanimating and is easy to get and will probably serve you better. If you really do want it back in your hand Genesis Skullwinder and Eternal Witness do this while attached to a body.

Rather than sending to your hand these will just bring back Diregraf Rebirth, Victimize, Reanimate, Exhume, Unearth, Whisper, Blood Liturgist, Stitch Together,Dread Return.Geth, Lord of the Vault is expensive but can fill your yard as well as revive others. Finale of Devastation revives or tutors, and is a finisher.

Blossoming Wreath,Gnaw to the Bone probably heal less than lifelink, and there's a ton of ways to give lifelink.

Rampant Growth is slightly inferior to Three Visits and Nature's Lore as long as your dual lands have both typesOvergrown Tomb, Bayou, Woodland Chasm, although I'd definitely run all three if there's room. Culling Ritual would be an amazing ramp/wipe card you can use to nuke all tokens and then cast stickfingers. Sakura-Tribe Elder is just rampant growth that works as a blocker for one turn, and it is another creature in your graveyard. Lotus Cobra ramps too, particularly with your other ramp options.

And you'll likey have enough mana to use Decree of Pain, if not, other wipe options are Damnation,Pernicious Deed,Death Cloud,Deathbringer Regent,In Garruk's Wake,Killing Wave,Necromantic Selection,Plague Wind,Reiver Demon,Toxic Deluge. Torment of Hailfire works as a finisher too Endurance is basically the only way you can protect your graveyard that I can think of. I'd probably run Veil of Summer too.

Moodmark Painter gives the +x/+x buff and is on a body Garruk Relentless  Flip flips into Garruk, the Veil-Cursed, but its tricky to make this one work

Since you'll have access to really big creatures these can be nice for draw. Greater Good, Momentous Fall, Return of the Wildspeaker, Garruk, Primal Hunter, Morbid Curiosity, Life's Legacy, Disciple of Bolas, Doom Weaver, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds.

Mesmeric Orb,Stitcher's Supplier would be an amazing graveyard filler.

Zombie Infestation and Wild Mongrel is usefull for dumping creatures out of your hand

I think every single black deck should run Dauthi Voidwalker, and the more grave hate you have the more you could take advantage of Living End/Living Death if you use these as mass reanimates. they are the cheapest.

Life from the Loam and Bala Ged Recovery  Flip would be good helps for mana and options.

As long as you run Filth run Crop Rotation and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth too since it will make every creature you have unblockable.

Deathrite Shaman would benefit from more fetch lands Marsh Flats,Verdant Catacombs,Misty Rainforest would help mana fix as well as throw more lands into your graveyard.

You have a fairly high number of tutors, and a ton of ramp, so i'd consider Panglacial Wurm. It's a card you dont need to waste a draw to get and can be cast instant speed. And its fun to surprise people with it at least once.

legendofa on How is Camaraderie a Bend?

Skagra42 Which part of Shamanic Revelation do you think is the bend?

As I see it, Collective Unconscious and Regal Force show that can draw cards based on number of creatures, although it's more typically based on power, like Greater Good or Momentous Fall. Both Unconscious and R.Force might also be bends, but I don't think they are.

Momentous Fall bring us to the life gain side. ability to gain big chunks of life has quite a bit of precedent, with cards like Blossoming Wreath, Nourish, and Wandering Stream. Gaining life based on power has become more prevalent recently, but has been around since at least 2006, with Gristleback, and Feed the Pack was printed just before Shamanic Revelation.

Furthermore, S.Revelation has been reprinted in eight different products, and is virtually a staple for precon Commander decks. I don't think a bend card would receive that much exposure, but that's entirely my speculation.

So my interpretation is that while the individual parts may not come together often, every part of Shamanic Revelation is acceptably , with established and demonstrative precedent. is probably the second or third best color for both drawing and life gain, but it's reasonable for it to do both.

Hey, killer_eye! I'm glad you're still playing Songs! Your mainboard looks solid, but I would look into squeezing in two more copies of Mulldrifter. Drawing two cards and putting a creature into the grave is a great deal for just 3 mana. I recommend cutting Moment's Peace and one Fume Spitter to make room.

You should also be playing the full playset of Songs of the Damned. I suggest cutting Grisly Salvage to make room.

Your sideboard lack focus. I recommend running something like this:

2x Dispel

2x 1 CMC Lifegain Spells (Life Goes On/Blossoming Wreath)

3-4x Hand Disruption Spells (Duress/Wrench Mind)

3-4x Removal Spells

2x Pieces of Graveyard Hate

1-3x Pieces of Artifact/Enchantment Hate

This general format should serve you well against the current pauper metagame and most LGS metas.

Hey thanks for the feedback!

I really like Laquatus's Creativity and Whispering Madness since they're like a Forgotten Creation that I don't have to wait for the effect to trigger on, plus the cipher option on Whispering Madness is nice for the flexibility.

I initially had Deep Analysis and Sever the Bloodline in my first draft of this list but ended up cutting them for other cards. I still really want to include Sever the Bloodline as it is pretty decent removal and the flashback option is great, but I'm not sure what I would cut at the moment. I don't know how I missed Cackling Counterpart when building this, I'll have to figure out what I'm dropping but I definitely want to add him in so thanks for that suggestion.

I'm not too keen on Greenwarden of Murasa due to his CMC and the fact that he's $1.00 at the moment. I would definitely include him if it brought them to the battlefield instead of my hand, is there anything like him that does that I'm not already running?

Bitter Revelation and Mental Note seem a bit underwhelming to me, I feel like it's kinda like a less impactful Tracker's Instincts/Commune with the Gods/Forbidden Alchemy/Grisly Salvage but having a few more similar options might be good. I'll have to play the deck a few times and get a feel before I decide on that.

I 100% agree on Chronic Flooding, I like that it's more controlled and you don't have to worry about it decking you too much, gonna swap those out for each other.

I kinda feel the same about Corpse Churn as I did with Mental Note ect above, still I'll have to test the deck a few times to see if it needs more recurring options of that kind.

Embalmer's Tools was another card I had in the first draft of this list that I ended up cutting, it's another card I definitely want to include but am not sure what to cut, probably going to end up dropping Blossoming Wreath as you suggested earlier as I agree that it's not that impactful/worth taking up a slot so I might put it in to replace that.

Fact or Fiction and Epiphany at the Drownyard are both great cards, just need to make room for them, probably going to drop Feldon's Cane since I wont be as worried about decking myself without Curse of the Bloody Tome to make room for one of these.

Extractor Demon is already in the list haha, but yeah very good.

I'm liking Gather the Pack probably going to drop something like Wreath of Geists because I feel like there's already enough options for +x/+x per creature in graveyard in the deck already but we'll see.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Very cool build! Seems like a lot of fun when it goes off.

Have you considered 1-2 Hooting Mandrills and/or Gurmag Anglers as potential top-ends? They can drop turn 3-4 pretty consistently if your beetles/feeders are stalling out, especially if you were to swap out some of your Jungle Hollows for Evolving Wilds.

If you're not feeling the Delve, there are some other cool, synergistic cards that come to mind:

Love it as is, just thought I'd share... Happy brewing!

Good one, +1 from me. May I suggest Gnaw to the Bone over Blossoming Wreath?
