I appreciate the thoughts jamochawoke! So, my only hesitation on Blood Age General is that I'm not really leaning into the spirits theme too much. Sure, there will be some via sacrifice, but I feel that card would definitely shine more in a bit wider deck where spirits truly are the star of the deck.
As far as Laelia, the Blade Reforged, that actually is in my maybe list for this deck. If I see I am really hurting for card draw, this definitely could find a home for sure!

Definitely could fit a Blood Age General in there.
For card advantage could also use a Laelia, the Blade Reforged?
