There are some lands that can get you a little bit of headway, like Ebon Stronghold and some storage lands that could help as well... heck, even Black Mana Battery. I like having one or two things like that ticking in the background, just to make my opponents worry a little. Lastly there is Nykthos and Cabal Coffers for super speed. Also that Orzhov guy that doubles black mana production.... whose name I can’t remember. I think it’s its a spirit.

With another return to Innistrad heralding the arrival of spooky season, I wanted to see what your favorite creepy, horrifying, and/or unsettling artwork is!

I have an entire deck partially dedicated to many of my all-time favorite spooky card arts but here are a couple more goodies across the color pie: Witch Hunter, Phantom Monster, Urborg Stalker, Halam Djinn, Moss Monster, and Black Mana Battery.

I'm eager to see what your favorites are!

Might consider Victim of Night it's only 1 more mana and in almost all situations is a certain kill. If you're feeling kinda zainy you could even do Snuff Out .

I'm not sure how concerned you are with gaining life but because you have Gray Merchant I am going to also recommend Crypt Incursion and Gift of Orzhova and maybe even Rite of Consumption or Foul-Tongue Shriek .

I'm not sure how off the top of my head but you could probably do something kinda neat with Black Mana Battery and Wicked Akuba . Maybe nuke em when they are low enough.

Other than that I'm not super sure. I like the deck a lot!

u should put a Black Mana Battery (if ya can find one) to store up a lotta black mana for Crypt Rats

Thanks! I spent a few weeks compiling options to assist in properly accelerating the deck and am feeling pretty good about it.

Corrupt is too mana-intensive for what it does. Even in late-game, 8-10 damage isn't gonna get me there in most multiplayer games. Tendrils of Corruption is better, but the creature restriction is what got it dropped. As cool as Black Mana Battery is, it's super slow for what it's getting me. I'm afraid that's also a pass.

This looks absolutely heinous! I was reading through it thinking to muself: "damn this is cool! I really want to suggest some of the cool black mana accelrants I know! How about bubbl... no matter... magus of.... nope... cabal c.... feck..." well done, dude. This looks really tight. Have you considered Corrupt and Tendrils of Corruption for additional blam/drain? Also Black Mana Battery might just be worth it :) stay frosty!
