Bind the Monster is the GOAT. I like this two Force Spike list but I miss Foil in longer games against Gardens. Then again, I didn't need it to win so maybe it's not an issue.

wallisface thanks for your feedback and insight! I agree with #1 and #3 completely; I haven’t put much time/effort into buying singles to fill out my deck and I’m still figuring out what matchups I need to deal with (my sideboard is very much “my next 15 cards that I’d want to use”) and some cards like Bind the Monster have come in handy against decks with large 0/X defenders to get them out of my way.

For #2: mutate in general tends to require high mana costs to take advantage of mutate. If I pare down and try to lower my mana curve, I’d probably get rid of most of my mutate cards and double down on card draw with Faerie Vandal, Lorescale Coatl, and Chasm Skulker. Any recommendations on which mutate cards to build around for 4+ mana?

Due to you taking so much time to comment on this deck, TriusMalarky I'll explain why I didn't like these other card suggestions.

Runner's Bane - being able to pin down larger creatures is sometimes essential. I've found this to be so against Enchantment decks, for example.

For this reason Bind the Monster is also not a good way to go. I often win games by only one or two points, so every bit of life loss counts. It's one of the reasons why this deck is Mono Blue.

Unquenchable Thirst - I don't wish to add any Deserts to the deck, as that will dilute my mana base too much. It's stretched as is. I also can't afford to have an opponent creature with Vigilance, that I can't lock down.

That leaves our friend, Singing Bell Strike

Fair. On Claustrophobia, I feel like you could consider Runner's Bane or Singing Bell Strike over it, or even Bind the Monster or Unquenchable Thirst , but that's debatable.
