Thiccboi5 color pie breaks essentially means creating a card for a color, that has the abilities typically found in another color.

An example would be, well Red Elemental Blast.

A simpler example would be if they printed a spell that cost , printed it at sorcery speed and it just said “draw two cards”

Red can’t draw cards without some sort of other effect like Browbeat where opponents can take damage instead, Outpost Siege where it’s exiled and you only get to play an extra card for 1 turn, or by lacing the draw with discards a la Insolent Neonate or Battlefield Scavenger.

To begin with, this is probably the most creative deck I have ever seen. That being said, I playtested it and see some minor problems. I will cover all of the problems I see with it, then cover all of the solutions. I really like the concept of this deck, and I want to see it work in an actual game. Problems: This deck isn't going to win from dealing damage, not even close. Therefore, Eidolon of the Great Revel really isn't going to anything what so ever. He is just 2/2 for , and serves no real purpose. The same goes for Dimir House Guard . Like, yes ok, he can regenerate, but there aren't many creatures here to sacrifice. Additionally, I played this deck several times, and not once did I see Vampiric Link be of any use. The most life per attack you can get with it is 2, and most likely your creature dies from it. I just think there could be better cards. Improvements:

I personally like to run Go for the Throat over Victim of Night . I would have one in the deck and one in the sideboard, just for the various scenarios.

During the beginning of the game, you are very vulnerable. You need some smaller creatures such as Typhoid Rats . They can be played turn one and can effectively block almost any creature. Replace Vampiric Link with these, it will help so, so much.

As I said above, Eidolon of the Great Revel is just wasting space, and if you wanted to keep the same converted mana cost, might I suggest Battlefield Scavenger (for cycling faster), Bloodrage Brawler (for an actual blocker), Figure of Destiny , or many more, just not Eidolon.

Dimir could go either way, especially if you make these other changes, so you can sacrifice creatures easier.

I was looking at that card earlier today as a matter of fact. I'm gonna pick that one up after I see what I have. Whats your thoughts on also having Battlefield Scavenger?

Hey,

My first amonkhet deck was a RW exert deck.With Glory-Bound Initiate or Combat Celebrant having vigilance thanks to Always Watching . But the thing is I'm guessing you're trying to make a rotation proof deck, so no more Always Watching and this is a big problem... Without the enchantment, the deck slows down A LOT. But besides that, the only thing I'd change is add removals: 4x Compulsory Rest are not enough, and also don't cover every threat. I'd suggest you use perhaps 3x Compulsory Rest and some of: Cast Out, Abrade, Shock or Magma Spray

As for creatures, you can consider Battlefield Scavenger or Ahn-Crop Crasher, which is a very good card !

The listed subtypes for almost the entire Jackal tribe seems to be incorrect. I tried to fix it but, unless I'm being an idiot and misunderstanding the interface, it isn't possible because the only Jackal related option in the drop-down menu is "Zombie Jackal".

Affected cards:
Battlefield Scavenger, Bitterblade Warrior, Bitterbow Sharpshooters, Champion of Rhonas, Dauthi Jackal, Defiant Khenra, Earthshaker Khenra, Flameblade Adept, Hurr Jackal, Jackal Familiar, Jackal Pup, Khenra Charioteer, Khenra Eternal, Khenra Scrapper, Nimble-Blade Khenra, Resilient Khenra, Trueheart Twins, Wildfire Eternal.

You're running so many exert cards, I'm surprised you're not running one of the following exert lords: Vizier of the True, Trueheart Twins, Resolute Survivors or Battlefield Scavenger. Also, Ahn-Crop Crasher seems pretty good

I've seen many players playing Flameblade Adept and pumping it with Tormenting Voice or Battlefield Scavenger.

Did you consider splashing black? Neheb, the Worthy could be very useful here. You could put it instead of Khenra Scrapper. With black you could also use Cut / Ribbons. I made similiar deck for myself Sweltering Suns.
