Creature — Bird Soldier
Domain Aven Trailblazer's toughness is equal to the number of basic land types among lands you control.
Aven Trailblazer Discussion

Hello! Nice deck, I must say, I love Cloudreach Cavalry and birds. But may I ask, why Aven Trailblazer? Here he is nigh-useless because he won't be bigger than 2/1 for 3 mana. My suggestion is to put there some Soulcatchers, because they're awesome: if not removed, they'll surely grow beyond measure throughout the course of the game.

A couple things:
Try to get your deck down to 60 cards. Every additional card over 60 needs to be worth it, as it means you aren't drawing what will win you the game.
You have a lot of high-cost, powerful cards. This is good when you have a mana pool to cast them with. But early, you get worked over while trying to get things on the board. Try to refine and get more cards with a 1-3 converted mana cost (CMC) in your deck.
(This was/is the hardest one for me at first. I am still new to making my own decks!) How do you want to win? Pick something and narrow it down. Flooding the board with creatures (usually low-cost with this strategy) and make use of Athreos, God of Passage's ability to return cards to your hand is one.
Another idea is to increase the number of fliers you have. You already have 12 of them, but most are high cost. A couple suggestions: Aerial Responder, Akroan Skyguard, Angelic Gift, Angelic Page, Aven Trailblazer, Basilica Screecher. These are probably not the best suggestions for cards, but just some of a list that have a CMC under 3. Google ideas for a flying deck if you are interested!
If you lower the ratio of high-CMC to low-CMC cards, you can take out a couple lands (maybe about 2-3 of each plains and swamps) and add in other spells.
Hope this all makes sense, it is really late as I write this!!
