Tap, Sacrifice a land: Destroy target land.

Yo since Windgrace is all about land recovery, you think something Army Ants would be a neat inclusion?

Changes, 30Sep2020:

-1 Devastating Summons, +1 Nissa of Shadowed Boughs. Even with the synergy with Doubling Season, I feel like I'd have a better reason to sacrifice my lands than to Devastating Summons. A planeswalker with a landfall trigger to add loyalty is a dream for this deck, and by the time she got rolling, her minus ability can probably get any creature in the deck that's available. I can't wait to play with this card.

-1 Army Ants, +1 Ancient Greenwarden. I have plenty of land destruction options that are better than a once-per-turn, creature-facilitated option like Army Ants. I think I may have been including it for purely nostalgic options. Ancient Greenwarden, on the other hand... a 3rd crucible effect, and a land-Panharmonicon (landharmonicon?), both attached to a big body that can swat down fliers? Yes please! Either one of his abilities would be enough to include him, but both?! I've mentioned before that I love the possibility of exponential growth, and I'm excited to get this guy rolling with Doubling Season and watch the ensuing chaos. It's like this guy was made for this deck.

Army Ants is dope! Never seen that before, and in a "land matters" deck that is sick.

I have a few suggestions but they may not be perfect choices for you (I run them in my Gitrog deck --I know Windgrace is different but they are both "land matters").

Barren Moor and Tranquil Thicket are great for additional cycling. With gitrog out this equals an extra draw per cycle.

Constant Mists is a lifesaver.

Squandered Resources and Lotus Cobra are great 'extra' mana generators. Certainly good for combos. Squandered has dug me out of some deep holes in many games.

Retreat to Hagra is a great combo piece for me--team it up with World Shaper or Splendid Reclamation when you have a nice amount of lands in the graveyard.

Anyway, those suggestions aren't to say your deck isn't already sweet! Just some suggestions to mess around with if you so desire.

+1

Even after reading the description I don't think I understand the idea... But you might wanna add Army Ants

Jaceblue12 Lots of good feedback here, I appreciate it. It should be pretty apparent, but I'm not trying to optimize this deck. I'm having fun with it, I like running cute cards like Army Ants or Invader Parasite. They're not the most optimal necessarily, but they can still be useful, and also they're generally not worth wasting removal on, so they generate me a decent amount of value a lot of the time. I really like playing a card and getting that "what does that do?" reaction. I also just don't like playing with certain staples, I like winning without them. I won't include the Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth+Cabal Coffers combo in any deck I build. The same is true for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle+Prismatic Omen combo. I understand that these are powerful combos, but I just don't think they're very fun. I don't have a mono blue player in my playgroup, I just think it's funny to hose blue players even if it's only infrequently and partially. Also when I play Choke against a mono blue player it'll be hilarious. There's a couple of your suggestions I'll consider. Squandered Resources is a good card that I somehow hadn't seen. I've been toying with Jokulhaups for a while now, and I think I might add it in over Wildfire. Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

There are some inclusions in the deck that I don't completely understand and seem like bad cards to be playing, especially in a format as crazy as commander. Why are you playing Scapeshift but not the Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle + Prismatic Omen combo? I understand it's a good way to get a bunch of landfall triggers, but you would be much better off with Life from the Loam in this slot. LftL is an auto-include in any lands-themed deck and you should be playing it. Army Ants seems way too cute and a very bad card for the political climate of a commander game. You can only take out one land every turn cycle, and the person you hurt will be salty with you. Since you seem to be going with an MLD theme, I would run Jokulhaups instead. Dragonmaster Outcast is way to slow and fragile. Cut it for Splendid Reclamation. Elvish Rejuvenator is just a bad Wood Elves. Ember Swallower is a bad card. cut it for better MLD. Same goes with Invader Parasite - it's a cute card, but doesn't make nearly enough of an impact for commander. Scute Mob - see dragonmaster outcast. I reccomend cutting it for Deathrite Shaman. Exsanguinate seems bad without Cabal Coffers+Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or Vault Skirge+The Gitrog Monster. I would cut two basics for the aforementioned lands and Invader Parasite for Vault Skirge. Rites of Spring - I understand that this card is in here to work with your commander, but it's a bad card. Cut for Squandered Resources which also works well with Exsanguinate. Tsunami and Choke - is there a mono-blue player in your playgroup? If not these are just bad cards as a lot of the lands people will be playing, even in a two-color deck, are not islands. Path of Discovery seems like a bad card to me - I haven't actually played with it and I understand it works well with angry omnath, landfall dragon and avenger but if you don't have those cards it feels awful. Why is Conjurer's Closet in your deck. Unless you have one of your ~6 ETB creatures it sucks. Cut for Kodama's Reach. I would play Constant Mists over Eternity Vessel. Hope this helps!
