TheBlackKnight21:I understand that...which is why you should try to go first, as I said. Also, if you get Armed instead of Assault Strobe to give the creature double strike, you only need to pay 16 life which does not leave you in the death range to a burn spell on turn 1. I appreciate your suggestion, but have already considered it. I understand being in a very aggressive playgroup, that's very similar to mine too :)

Other cards could be had instead of the ones I'm suggesting, such as Quest for Pure Flame, but I feel instant double damage and a draw spell that guarantees less blockers are good enough. If nothing else you'll not be spending nearly as much mana since you don't likely have to ever charge up the serpent and the burn spell was 2 mana.

The only other 3 split cards I think can be manipulated well with Kari Zev's Expertise, specifically, are Flesh/Blood, Boom/Bust, and Research/Development, the outliers are Ancestral Vision and Wheel of Fate. Armed/Dangerous is situational against infect-using decks, usually. Again, that is other. All modern split cards link
Hit/Run or Pure/Simple might be playable off Yahenni's Expertise or Sram's Expertise, but probably not. Commands are probably better.

With this build, Temur Battle Rage has been replaced with Armed. I find the +1/+1 and sorcery-speed from Armed better than the trample and instant-speed Battle Rage gives, as ideally Distortion Strike and/or Stormchaser Mage's flying should make trample irrelevant, so I'd rather get the +1/+1 buff. That's just personal preference though.

There is nothing in the current standard format that is going to be as format warping as caw blade.
That said, while I am curios as to what combo you have thought of that can deal that damage before or by turn 6, the thing is a combo that allows a blitz deck like R/G warewolf is probably either not consistent, very fragile to disruption, or easily answered by a removal spell. Remember how when Nivix Cyclops was spoiled back in the RTR block, people were going nuts at all the possible combos on how to swing for stupid amounts thanks to combo pieces like Armed? How far into tournaments did Izzet Blitz ever make it?
Caw Blade got banned because it turned the format into either you play Caw Blade or you lost. I really don't think there are cards so powerful that we will see everyone running that type of deck and nothing else. We already have something similar in Standard right now. Ever played against a Jeskai Ascendancy deck? I got hit for 60 or so damage on turn 4 because my opponent was able to go off and I drew no answers. However, you know what his final score against me was? 1-2. You know how he did at the end of FNM? 1-3.
I would really like an explanation on how you can deal 30,000 damage with 8,000 creatures by turn 6. I don't want to sound like a dick like I probably just sounded as your read this, but I just don't think blitz/combo decks like that work. They might work in the first few weeks as people try to figure the meta out and don't have sideboard ready.
Yeah, I am curious as to what combo you have seen, so I don't feel like I just spewing nonesense.

thecakeisalie42: hmmm, Armed / Dangerous looks cool, but it does not add trample, whereas Temur Battle Rage will. Almost every one of the buffs in this deck will make Glistener Elf a 4/4, activating the Battle Rage's Ferocious trample ability. ...the +1/+1 of Armed is tempting though, so I'll get some and try them out. Thanks. =)
ddxxe: Assault Strobe is awesome, thank-you. You should have submitted it as a Recommendation, I would have totally given you a "TO point" for that. lol. Might of Old Krosa is one I forgot about, too, so thanks for remind me about that as well.
