Aladdin's Lamp Discussion

You forgot the commander. I would recommend a few more large Mana costs. Blinkmoth Infusion is hugely costed, but doesn't actually do much. Desolation Twin and Ancient Stone Idol are nice big creatures. I'll just say that the opponents won't expect Aladdin's Lamp. Dead Drop and Curse of the Cabal seem good as well. Omniscience should be an obvious choice.

The current text for the ability on Aladdin's Lamp is:

The next time you would draw a card this turn, instead look at the top X cards of your library, put all but one of them on the bottom of your library in a random order, then draw a card. X can’t be 0.

"The next time you would draw a card this turn" only applies to the first draw of a multi-draw effect. You will draw the rest of the cards for the effect after the replacement effect from Aladdin's Lamp.

If an effect would make me draw multiple cards, could I use Aladdin's Lamp to reduce it to only a single draw (for example, to avoid emptying my library)? Or would I draw the rest of the cards after the lamp finishes resolving?

Leveler, Eater of Days, Chronatog.

Maybe Awakened Amalgam with all the different lands you play.

Also consider some or all of the staffs (Staff of the Wild Magus, Staff of the Death Magus etc.) and if you want to go the lifegain-route, you can play Well of Lost Dreams, and the amazing Juju Bubble.

Aladdin's Lamp also gives you some serious card advantage.

Maybe also some clash-effects, cause your mana-curve and land-to-nanland ratio is on point!

would Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient be of any help in this? also Hellkite Tyrant would be broken in this deck. also Caged Sun would greatly increase mana flow. and Aladdin's Lamp is infinite tutor.

Aladdin's Lamp and Colossus of Akros seem like good fits here. Some cards that always get into my artifact decks are Trading Post, Pentavus, Dreamstone Hedron, and Spine of Ish Sah. One card I severely underestimated at one time is Clock of Omens which has become an all star for my karn deck but with you has the potential to untap your commander for some ridiculous turns.

you should make an eldarazi the commander. it is allot more effective than the lame thopter. both are colorless so it is allowed. you should also add Reliquary Tower and you should also add in Black Vise and The Rack to control the opponent's hand. I also think Aladdin's Lamp would be helpful in this deck so you can search for the right card. and Whispersilk Cloak will keep the creature holding it safe from harm. Trading Post might or might not be helpful (btw it is legal even though it can spit out White Goat tokens) Foundry Inspector will help you get your artifacts out easier and Caged Sun will benefit all things colorless if chosen. and finally good ol' Colossus of Akros will win hands down when holding Whispersilk Cloak

if you got enough mana to use you should add in Aladdin's Lamp. with either allot of mana or a short enough library it practically becomes a tutor card. and the best part is you can use Kurkesh to copy it and get a second card for only one Red.
