Reveal the top four cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them into play. It has "At the end of your turn, return this creature to its owner's hand." Then put the rest of the cards revealed this way on the bottom of your library in any order.

So after tweeking the mana base and looking at your choices, is there any reason your not running Toxic Deluge over Wrath of God as another answer to an indestructable board or is it just the budget restriction? I also oped to replace Mistmeadow Witch with Archaeomancer and have seen a much higher close rate in my group. I found with how much we dig 1 copy of Deja Vu on a stick is usually enough. Also you can pick it with AEthermage's Touch, choose the touch with the ETB and not blink the mancer to just get both back to your hand.

Sorry. That last comment was bad let me try again:
I would remove at first glance:
Azorius Chancery Dimir Aqueduct Forge of Heroes Orzhov Basilica Conundrum Sphinx Geode Golem Jeskai Infiltrator Loyal Subordinate Night Incarnate Ninja of the Deep Hours Phyrexian Delver Silent-Blade Oni Sphinx of Uthuun Varina, Lich Queen Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow Skull Storm AEthermage's Touch
These I chose either for the simple fact they don't go for the plan or are too slow. There are better cards that aren't that expensive.

@Murphy77 yes its a more budget build an cool too. I dont see the reason to include 3x As Foretold in your build, i mean you hit the first counter on t4 and you can cast something for one mana for free. Aether Vial would be more reasonable. and with 20 creatures ( i mean i have only 23 creatures too) the chance is rarely here tor hit nothing with AEthermage's Touch and for me when you play this card you want to hit something bigger to like a (6 drop or 7 drop). But i like your take on the Hostage Taker and Gonti. I can playtest my deck soon at an FNM so i hope it performs quite well^^ sorry for bad english

This deck has the potential to get really evil. Grave Pact might fit right in, when one of your creatures is killed, your opponent sacrifices a creature. Then we up the flicker - 3 Vesner means that you can cast a creature with AEthermage's Touch then flicker it with Vesner or Cloudshift before it gets returned to the hand. Who knows - you might even get Vesner's emblem.
With the above set-up you can be a lot more aggressive with your ETB effects. Gonti, Lord of Luxury would be great to steal your opponent's deck. Hostage Taker fits right in (often exiling your own creature). 3 each of Angel of Serenity, Blade Splicer, Sin Collector, Wall of Omens and maybe Restoration Angel with 2 biggies like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

Venser, the Sojourner seems a bit great. I'd also recommend Mulldrifter over Champion of Wits. And if you really need a good boardwipe I'd just recommend one of the classic 4 mana white wipes over Yahenni's Expertise. Makes sure the job gets done. Also, Cloudshift works pretty well with AEthermage's Touch so you could keep the body AND get another etb trigger.

Depending on which angle of control you want to take, I can offer different suggestions.
Some staples for Derevi you'll want to consider no matter what build you end up going for: Swords to Plowshares, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, Birds of Paradise, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, and Counterspell.
From your description, you could consider running a pillow-fort strategy. It's kind of like an extremely watered-down version of Stax that really just prevents opponents from attacking you, while they still have the resources to attack each other. It's definitely a politics-heavy strategy, making deals with opponents to convince them that other people are better targets until you start laying down wincons.
Your wincons are going to be big fatties that also lock down the board or take advantage of your protection: Stormtide Leviathan (can't recommend this one enough), Azor's Elocutors, Isperia, Supreme Judge, and Blazing Archon.
If you want more traditional control that utilizes tapping/untapping, the general good all-arounds are: Aven Mindcensor, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, Hokori, Dust Drinker, Trygon Predator, Bant Charm, Supreme Verdict, and Winter Orb.
For blink abuse, I suggest Deadeye Navigator.
As a general structure for your EDH deck, try to follow the pattern of 10 mana accelerators, 10 card draw effects, 5 spot removal, 5 boardwipes, and 4 tutor effects.
There's a few filler cards that don't fall in any of those categories, and don't necessary synergise. I recommend removing: Djinn of Infinite Deceits, Hada Spy Patrol, Kazandu Tuskcaller, Phantom Nantuko, Winged Coatl, Wonder, Curse of Predation, Pyramid of the Pantheon, Thunderstaff, AEthermage's Touch, Biomass Mutation, and Sprouting Vines.
