This time, on time!

Come one, come all, to witness some of the greatest flavor I have ever written!

There isn't much to say this week, other than I hope that you guys enjoy the Magic(Hah, puns. Gotta love 'em). I'm most likely going to do Theros next week unless you all have another suggestion for me to do. Don't be afraid to make up your own flavor text for the weekly challenge!

Without further ado, let's get started.

10: Charmbreaker Devils

Sell your soul to the ultimate Devil for the ultimate power.

I might have said this last week, but I absolutely LOVE this card. like a better Kiln Fiend

9: Memory's Journey

From whence it came before, it will again.

The art is actually balls to the wall gorgeous. I debated making it my desktop background back in the day.

8: Moonmist

It was if the moon itself had turned its back on Innistrad

Speaking of amazing art, Ryan Yee pulled off some great stuff here.

7: Mindshrieker

"It's eyes paralyzed me. It's wings of cold flame fanned the fears of my mind. When I awoke from my haze, I had a chilling feeling like something was... missing." - Words scratched into a wood floor.

I imagined the bird coming at night and terrorizing people in their dreams to the point of madness.

6: Snapcaster Mage

For those who listen, the echoes of the past can shape the future.

I hate this card. I have never used it, and I never will. Just a burning hatred for no discernible reason. Logical.

5: Olivia Voldaren

"My, wouldn't you be a darling plaything."

I imagien her being some bored queen wanting fun playthings.

4: Fiend Hunter

"I fear no evil, for no evil can touch me. Instead evil fears me, for they cannot escape me."

Nothing to see here, just a badass dude who has seen his fair share of sh*t.

3: Geist of Saint Traft

"Angel of Avacyn, hear my words. The pain I hold and the sorrow in your heart will blend and become the hymm that falls upon each demon's ears. We will cleanse Stensia, and evil shall be left asunder. "

I used this guy in a great Spirit deck back in the day, and I love the backstory of his character. Give it a read.

2: Ghostly Possession

The Giest did not want to flay humans, nor aid the encroaching demons. It merely wanted to exist.

This card was frustrating in limited. Lost a few games to it zapping my Geist of Saint Traft.

1: Unbreathing Horde

"As we retreated from the horde, I looked back to catch a final glimpse. I couldn't help but think that, eventually, I would die to those Zombies. We all would." - Unknown

This card reflects the overall feel and theme of Innistrad more than any other card IMO. Such a fun card.

The winner of this week's was kind of unanimous, congrats Suns_Champion! (Slightly edited)

Grimgrin, Corpse-Born

A dreadful chill looking for a spine to run down.

This week's challenge is going to be a good one as well, good luck:

Creeping Renaissance

"A garden of corpses makes for a grim harvest."

Congrats Suns_Champion! That was a really good one.

On Innistrad, the first death is never the end. Sometimes, neither is the second.

Congratulations Suns_Champion! Definitely worthwhile to Grimgrin, Corpse-Born.

"Be careful digging up the past. You may come to find more than you bargained for"

"I managed to stumble to my families' grave site for comfort in my dying moments before the horde came upon me. As I opened my eyes for one last look at the stars, I saw my entire lineage awoken and crawling out of their graves. They messed with the wrong family" - Final journal entry

"Why can't dead things stay dead?"/"Because nature will always have a response."

Grim Grin text is super appropriate. I love this week's Memory's Journey the most!

For this week's challenge, it is a bit tough. Ill go with:

"The final destination is merely the beginning."

For Creeping Renaissance:

Those who have fallen together will awake once more under a pale moon.

Awww yay! Thanks friends!

I'll start with an Edgar Allan Poe quote:

"The boundaries which divide Life from Death are at best shadowy and vague. Who shall say where the one ends, and where the other begins?"

And now my own:

"I will allow you this second chance" hissed Death, "and a third even, so long as the torment and confusion of thine enemies continues to amuse me."

As you shall lose, so shall you gain. Such is the balance of nature.

Great article, keep it up!

I appreciate it, Deco_y! Flavor text is a wonderful thing and it's fun to get together with others and see if we can make a suitable bit of flavor for the weekly card of your picking. My favorite of yours this week has to be Saint Traft's. It sounds like a battle-hymn of sorts, something I'd expect a Cathar or some demon hunter to say.

By the way, Moonmist has to be "its back". It's is short for it is, which is not what you're looking to do here.
