It’s Monday! That means we’re live at 6:30 PM Pacific over on our Twitch community page, duking it out with Casual But Still Good-Ish™ Commander decks!
This week, we’re headed back into familiar territory for another shot at custom commanders! Using the specific knowledge that somebody would use Food Chain to break their commander if we weren’t careful, three of us painstakingly designed balanced cards for each fourth person in this week’s playgroup and we’re very satisfied with the results! Your shit is lagging out the main page, please don't have it stream directly to a thumbnail anymore.

It's not my "shit". The entire domain was slow all night, before and after my stream even took place.

Everyone going to the main page getting a stream uses an unnecessary amount of bandwidth. So your shit sure didn't help.

You can simply pause the stream or disable the element altogether by right-clicking on it. No need to be nasty about it.

Wait are you offended that I said "your shit is lagging out.." instead of "your stream is eating bandwidth and lagging out.."? Sorry, no offense was intended I sometimes forget that some people actually freak out about "bad words" and take "your shit" to be more offensive than just "what you are currently doing".
The problem isn't fixed with "simply pausing the stream or disabling the element". The problem that was caused wasn't my down, it is that the server side up was handling many times the normal load because instead of sending a spurt of information to each person that came to the website, it now had to additionally stream your video to each person on the screen. Now if you have talked to yeaGO and it isn't a problem with the upload speed of the server I apologize, however your stream showing on the main page seemed the most likely culprit to me. I don't see why a static image on the main page and then an embedded stream on the actual "article" page wouldn't work and also hedge against compounding any server connection problem.
