Ivy Lane Denizen is pretty great in an evolve deck that uses +1/+1 counters as currency. Guildgates are good but not worth this early pick; Edict is a great high-end removal spell since we're splashing white anyhow now, but the Denizen is still the best pick here, I think.

Quite a few picks here.. Ivy Lane Denizen , Scatter Arc , Simic Guildgate , Forced Adaptation , Prophetic Prism .

I'd say the best pick is Ivy Lane Denizen , which can put counters on our Drakewing Krasis or anything else we might want.

Right, I forgot about Angelic Edict . Following BREAD, it would be the best or second best pick (if we consider denizen as a bomb).

Removal is very valuable in this format, and we have very little of it currently. Angelic Edict .

Denizen is far from a bomb, but Edict isn't so good to make us take it over a more synergistic creature that can help tie our deck together. If it was in green or blue, sure, but since it's our splash color that lowers its value to us and puts it a little behind denizen. We want to make sure we have dudes to run with the Frontline Medics, and Denizen works great with the things that let us spend counters, if we pick up any of them.

Ivy Lane Denizen . The counters could prove to become invaluable damage if it tables for a couple turns.

Since it looks like we are going Bant, we should take the mana fixing.

Vote for Prophetic Prism

I would Pick Prophetic Prism . With Ivy Lane Denizen , Scatter Arc , Simic Guildgate and Forced Adaptation there are 4 other choices and i suspect one of them will come around again. The prism will not.

wow . . . plenty of picks here . . . the Ivy Lane Denizen is great removal bait as is Forced Adaption, the prophetic prism fixes our mana, and scatter arc gives us protection . . .

I guess since splashing white for the medics is a thing then we really need creatures for our triggers, so Ivy Lane Denizen is my vote

Prophetic Prism would have to be my pick, cycling and mana fixing is pretty helpful, and i can bet the guildgate or denizen will come back around..

even though its removal, i wouldnt deepen our splash just for the angelic edict. the only two i'm debating on are Prophetic Prism and Ivy Lane Denizen . the prism would help fix our mana and we do need another fixer, but the denizen is a great utility creature that in a simic(bant) deck. because its early in the draft and all of our blue creatures are also green im gonna pick Ivy Lane Denizen

Ivy Lane Denizen plus Evolve is awesome.

My vote: Ivy Lane Denizen

My vote is also Ivy Lane Denizen , the Prism might actually come back around since we picked it up rather late last time. Or we might just see another one later.

I would go for Prophetic Prism , since we are going 3 colors. Ivy Lane Denizen is pretty nice, but since we are going for 3 colors, it will have less sinnergy than expected.

Also, I agree with Lotex, we have a fair chance that one of those nice simic cards will come back later.

Guys, keep in mind that white is just a splash... Our colors are green and white, so Ivy Lane Denizen will be very relevant.

Simic Guildgate , even though Ivy Lane Denizen is gonna win as of now.

Ivy Lane Denizen I like the idea of dropping a Shambleshark , distributing counters, and messing with combat math.

Though I won't be upset if we take the Prism.

I also vote for the Ivy Lane Denizen .

Ivy Lane Denizen by a mile. Left unchecked, he is a force to be reckoned with.

The picks I like here, in order are:

  1. Ivy Lane Denizen - We need more creatures and this guy should go nicely with the direction we are taking with this deck.

  2. Prophetic Prism - Another strong pick but just barely loses to the Denizen. I know more mana fixing would be good and the extra card is always helpful but a deck full of mana fixers don't win games.

  3. Forced Adaptation - We had a debat about this card and Rapid Hybridization and I said that we would see more. While it obviously would be good in our deck I don't think it comes close to being more important for us than the first 2 on this list.

  4. Simic Guildgate - Mana fixing is always good and usually needs to be picked up early but I think that it is too early to take while there are cards like the top 2 on this list still available. Hopefully this will table.

While all of these would be positive additions to our deck, I think that the Ivy Lane Denizen is the right pick although I am very sad to pass on a 2nd Prism.

Yeah, Denizen's probably the best pick here.

Ivy Lane Denizen it is. Moving along.

I like Ivy Lane Denizen here as well. Yes the fixing would be nice, but I think we're still looking for playables. Also basically all of our Simic creatures are green.

I'd also point out that Armored Transport would not be the worst card to have if nothing else wheeled.
