I have a feeling my choices are going to be on the losing end from here on out. If I were sitting at the table and seeing these signals I would stay on a mono-green kick and take Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider.

I'd go Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider as well. It's expensive, but reach is not a bad thing to have in this format.

i agree w/ the Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider

Spider w/ reach is a very good thing, and if he is triggered by the morbid trigger, then he is a beat stick for offense or a house that is very hard to get past on defense.

DeckBuilder345 said everything I was thinking. Not to mention with all of the tokens we're creating, odds are there will be creatures dying. I vote for Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider

As far as synergy with the deck goes, I am torn between Stitcher's ApprenticeMTG Card: Stitcher's Apprentice and Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider. Stitcher helps out Kessig CagebreakersMTG Card: Kessig Cagebreakers without losing our edge on the field with Elder of LaurelsMTG Card: Elder of Laurels. But at this point I'm not sold on going Bant, a tricolor draft deck is hard to manage and GW seems to be what we're heading for. In that case, GW is what we should aim for and the spider is the way to go.

I would take the Wreath of GeistsMTG Card: Wreath of Geists, since I'm not crazy about Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider and if we're in white we will have flyers.

Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider isn't terrible and we're further locking up green.

Somberwald SpiderMTG Card: Somberwald Spider, definitely. Without Morbid, he's about 1 mana more expensive than I feel like I'd really want to pay for him but he's still a great body; with Morbid he's all-around solid.

The Apprentice is enticing but we're already looking at either GWr or GRw, and we don't need to add a fourth color to the mix. It looks like we're going down a path towards a more traditional Big Beaters(tm) deck, anyhow, and the Apprentice doesn't shine there.

The Mauler is a great body for his price, but belongs in a different deck than we've already taken (we've passed several good cards for that deck).

Nothing else in the pack really merits discussion. If the Amulet tables we should hope to grab that, or perhaps the Full Moon's Rise to boost any wolvies we happen to grab later.

Well I'm not a fan of this pack, but we'll go with the spider.

Another thought here is that the mauler is a fan favorite for those running mill yourself decks and may be a decent card to hate early especially in a pack like this where there is nothing earth shattering for our build.
