Final games played
MTGApprentice2016, 6 years ago
Xenagos preformed well during his final hours. Dealt 82 points of damage across two players without combo. Also managed to win his final game too, though it was officially won by the King, I was the Knight and I cleared 50% of the table so I was pleased. Going to build my Naya deck now and then something Green because there are too many good green creatures in this deck to let sit idle that do not work in my Naya deck. Xenagos will always be remembered, #XenagosLives! Some new aquirements

I ordered another Kaseto, Orochi Archmage and two Honored Hydra that i'll include as soon as they arive. I'll propably replace one Nemesis of Mortals and two Prey Upon with the new cards. Any alternate possible "exchange-targets" that i didn't consider are appreciated.
Update: Kaseto added
Update, the second: two Honored Hydra added to deck
Playtesting on Cockatrice
jstroud08, 6 years ago
Went 5-1 in games on Cockatrice tonight. The only loss was when someone was able to play 4 different destroy target enchantment spells (aura of silence copied, and the similar green one, copied), leaving me vulnerable for the third player to attack with multiple huge hydras, killing both of us. But even in that game I was the big threat on table the whole game.Raptorlisk, 6 years ago
-1 Oath of the Ancient Wood, +1 Ajani, Valiant Protector
Provides better utility while still providing +1/+1 counters. Only downside is its not an enchantment.
-1 Leafcrown Dryad, +1 Rancor
Same power increase, much lesser cost, gives trample (much more important than reach usually), and it recurs itself.
-1 Gigantiform, +1 Eldrazi Conscription
Provides much more of a power boost while still having trample and also provides annihilator 2. Only downside is the cost, but the mana ramp is this deck is good.
-1 Hopeful Eidolon, +1 Daybreak Coronet
much better boost for a much lesser cost. +3/+3 with Vigilance, First strike, and lifelink is amazing in one card, and Sigarda will almost always have another enchantment on her.
To Do
-1 One with Nature, +1 Shield of the Oversoul
-1 Pentarch Ward, +1 Three Dreams

TavinM, 6 years ago
Not many cards have made it from Amonkhet, but I replaced two Sunken Hollow with Fetid Pools, and added a playset of Embalmer's Tools, which works SOOOOOO well with the deck, it is almost like WOTC made it for me personallyCreature updates

Added 2 Harsh Mentor and 4 Soul-scar mages. Took out 3 kiln Feind and 3 thermo-alchemists. These cards excite me so I hope they work out.New Standard

Metallic MimicChange Log:
TronBonne, 6 years ago
Out:
Conqueror's Flail - May bring this back if playing vs heavy disruption to protect combos, but for now I don't need the effect
Beacon of Unrest - Was always a dead card. Was always choosing between this or a win con
Dispeller's Capsule - Rarely had targets. Felt like Anguished Unmaking hits more targets
Expedition Map - Land base feels consistent enough that this isn't needed
Fellwar Stone - Replaced with Mox Opal. Will see how it goes
Flood Plain - Upgraded to Scalding Tarn
Ichor Wellspring - Replaced with Rhystic Study
Magister Sphinx - Never feel like the difference between 10 HP or 10,000 HP made a difference when going infinite
Scrap Mastery - Rarely have enough artifacts in my graveyard to feel like this is worthwhile. Not much discard in the deck, and playgroup doesn't attack hand
Silas Renn, Seeker Adept - Sorry Silas, you just don't get the job done :(
Thopter Spy Network - Never really paid off
Whir of Invention - Plenty of other tutors in deck. Trying one less for now
Vedalken Orrery - It didn't much matter if I was casting on opponent's turn or not
In:
Anguished Unmaking - Hits Eldrazi. That is all
Blinkmoth Urn - Was often struggling to hit my high cmc spells in "good time". Also works with the non-infinite version of Thopter Foundry combo
Deadeye Navigator - ETB abuse each turn
Hangarback Walker - Want to make my lower end of the curve more aggressive. Also a great dump with the Blinkmoth Urn mana
Steel Overseer - Again, bolstering the low end of the curve. Comes out very fast with Sol Ring (e.g. Turn 1 Sol Ring+Steel Overseer Turn 2 Hangarback Walker for 2, then buff to 3/3)
Master of Etherium - Cheap and always relevant. Fantastic the turn before Breya
Mox Opal - Can lead to some crazy turn 2 plays
Panharmonicon - Less reliance on infinites by improving overall value of ETB effects
Rhystic Study - Recurring card draw. Previous iteration of deck seemed to run out of gas, so why not put in the best card draw engine in the format?
Scalding Tarn - Straight upgrade
Scrap Trawler - Want to see how it performs. I'm on the fence for now
Soul of New Phyrexia - To enable protection from Nevinyrral's Disk and Ratchet Bomb
Smuggler's Copter - Help construct my hand a bit better, and make use of my utility creatures who weren't swinging
With some playtesting...

theshade44, 6 years ago
Forgot to put in an initial edit, but I basically added Dyanvolt Tower and Ridgescale Tusker
-1 Fatal Push
-1 Manglehorn
I haven't forgotten about Magma Spray. That will probably go into my SB. Maybe my Main depending on how my meta checks out.
Major updates!
Daedalus19876, 6 years ago
It's been too long since I paid much attention to this list.! I've made major changes, roughly sorted into a few categories:
-- Manafixing: This is the biggest change. I adjusted to make the landbase mostly color-fixing non-basics, because the greatest problem for this deck is hitting colors. This also means that most of my lands enter tapped, which makes Amulet of Vigor and Hermit Druid stronger outside of the combo.
-- More reanimator focus: I've slightly reduced the combo aspect to the deck in favor of more outright reanimation. Nothing will stay dead, and it will play well with my new Entomb and Sword of Light and Shadow Masterpieces.
-- More grindy value: Cards like Sheoldred, Whispering One and The Gitrog Monster give more long-term value if the combo is disrupted, moving the deck to a little bit more midrange rather than as-fast-as-possible combo.
Thank you to everyone who's helped revise this deck!

Added lands that tap for both blue and white mana (should have done that a long time ago). Replaced Metallic Rebuke with Cancel, because the former becomes worthless after a certain point in each game.Updated Sideboard+ Added Cards
Mage_Mystic_, 6 years ago
+ Fully Revamped Sideboard - I felt like the sideboard for this deck was very weak, so I totally revamped it, and will be making 1 or 2 changes in the coming weeks + Added 1x Prophetic Prism - Extra land draw just in case you need a different color + Added 1x Cataclysmic Gearhulk - Very good in current meta, especially against combo decks and Vampire/Human/Token decks + Added 1x Liliana, Death's Majesty - Extra board wipe from ultimate, 5 mana Refurbish - Removed 1x Nahiri, the Harbinger - Makes room for extra Liliana - Removed 1x Eternal Scourge, 2x Scrapheap Scrounger - Almost useless combo, Consulate Skygate much betterChanges
Gripe_Sliver, 6 years ago
Took out: Jungle Shrine, Putrefy and Darksteel Ingot.
Added: Sol Ring, Ashnod's Altar and Reliquary Tower.
