Hi.

I'm James, a mage born in the year 1988 (32 as of writing this description).

I'm a Johnny, but not your typical Johnny Combo Player, although I have recently started to try to include a game ending combo or two in my decks. I'm much more interested in building with synergistic themes in mind. I want my decks to be able to tell a story. I do have a slight Spike side to me, wanting to tune my deck to the best it can be while still staying on theme. Since theme is very important to me when deck building, I do identify myself as a Vorthos where the flavor of cards appeal more to me than actual use and are usually included over strictly better cards, at least in the initial drafts before final cuts are made. Now looking back on my player profile, I guess it is a pretty common traits to have being a writer.

My favorite color is White. Favorite Guild is Dimir, and favorite shard is Esper.

Because my building style is so focused on the theme of the overall deck, I'll often find it difficult to offer suggestions on decks that don't revolve around a theme, but I will gladly give it a try, so just ask.
