Deckling -

I've only had the pleasure of dueling in MTG for a few blocks. However, in that short time it has become one of my most passionate endeavors. I love the labor of building and designing decks just as much as playing with them. I hold the style, flavor and overall construction of cards and archetypes in high regard. I try dearly to maintain some semblance of story arc and follow the card correlation to the canon all the while creating a deck that still functions enjoyably and effectively. The vast majority of my decks are BLC which is understandably an overlooked format. Yet it performs my desires well enough.

All these factors aside I am thoroughly a U/R mage. Slinging spells at instant speed, controlling the field with bounces, burns and counters while utilizing a small yet potent creature base is the kind of strategy I thrive for. Not surprising, the Izzet League claims many of my favorite cards. Both in art, flavor and actual function. Ravnica also appeals to my fascination with the industrialist, sci-fi, steampunk aesthetic.

There's not much left to discuss. Hopefully I will discover others in this community to share our thoughts on this wonderful game.
