Theme of the deck is Malice

The intention or desire to do evil; ill will.

How much more can you be hated then by having possible immortality? Well when you take others lives away in order to do so. When changing, halving, or switching life totals. Eyes will be on you. Especially once you give away your 0 HP to an unsuspecting foe.

Lets get this out of the way right off the bat. If you hate losing, this deck is not for you! The Lich is a glass cannon and is quite delicate. But is it powerful might you ask? Extremely.

First attempt at this kind of deck and boy will it ever bring hate. I enjoy playing magic to the point where the game is no where near the same as it started. The Lich completely changes the game and that my friends is fascinating. Its the ultimate glass cannon. The idea I had for this deck is to throw around life totals and bring as much hate to the table that you can hold. This really is a big combo deck and the rest of the cards are pillow-fort to prevent sacing as many perms a possible.

If everything isnt going your way, backup plans are in order.

Resolute Archangel/Lich's Mirror or Harmless Offering in some cases.

Why Queen Marchesa?

Mardu is the easiest way I can get what I want to do to go off. Black centers around losing life, white is for prevention of life lost, and red is the chaos to kick everyone else in the pants. I want to give away the monarch as soon as possible to get the 1/1 death touchers out. This way, it will hopefully prevent others from attacking to save their creatures or to use them to sac to Lich's Tomb if needed. Then if players are low enough, the tokens can go in for the kill or start whittling down players defensive creatures.

Zombie Infestation + Confessor When taking damage: Discard 2 cards, get a zombie, gain 2 life which turns into drawing 2 cards. Otherwise you can create an army of 2/2's and use Elixir of Immortality to start it over again.

Transcendence Remove damage and draw cards.
