Game Plan

Get K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth out ASAP. This can usually happen turn 2 or 3 consistently. As soon as you can, tutor the quickest win-con based on the cards in your hand. Ignore your life total. Life doesn't matter.

Combos and Win Cons

Combos that require K'rrik:

• Leshrac's Sigil + Aetherflux Reservoir
• Endless Cockroaches + ( Phyrexian Altar / Ashnod's Altar ) + Aetherflux Reservoir

Combos that do not require K'rrik:

• Triskelion + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed
• Bolas's Citadel + Gray Merchant of Asphodel + Mortuary + Sac outlet
• Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir
• Umbral Mantle + Magus of the Coffers + Exsanguinate

Doomsday Piles

The doomsday piles in general rely on the cantrips and card draw to kick them off. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth Isn't required to be able to play these, but he is if you want to jam them early on. You can doomsday pile any of the combos above if you have card draw but these are the 2 best:

Ransack the Lab -> Triskelion -> Mikaeus, the Unhallowed -> Victimize

Requires 20 life

1. Cast Doomsday - 20 - 6 = 14/2 = 7 life
2. Cantrip to Ransack the Lab , cast it - 7 - 2 - 2 = 3 life
3. Put Triskelion and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed into graveyard
4. Cast Victimize sacrificing K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth or other creature - 3 - 2 = 1 life

Bolas's Citadel -> Gray Merchant of Asphodel -> Mortuary -> Carrion Feeder

Updates

Currently deciding if running Zulaport Cutthroat and/or Blood Artist instead of or along side Ayara, First of Locthwain .

I like Ayara because she only costs 6 life if K'rrik is in play. So I don't need to hold up any mana to cast her. But there is an argument that the lower CMC of Zulaport Cutthroat might just be better? Not Sure

Also considering running the Infernal Contract Doomsday combo. Drawing Sacrifice , Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , Walking Ballista and Carrion Feeder . it requires you to cast doomsday with 28 life. Meaning if you go to 34 to cast K'rrik, then you go to 28 to cast Doomsday , then you either had paid mana for a tutor or had doomsday in your opening hand. The upside of this combo is that it can be done entirely on life, no mana required. Whereas the Victimize pile needs 3 mana. 1 to cast Ransack the Lab and 2 to help cast Victimize . Thoughts?
