Vial Smasher the Fierce and Akiri, Line-Slinger lead an artifact-heavy aggro deck, trying to burn and break their way to 20 damage (French/Duel Commander) before the opponent can set up any board state.

Some notable synergies:

Vial Smasher the Fierce and all the Fireball effects. Why choose between removing that creature and dealing damage to the opponents face when you can have both?

Banishing Stroke and Reforge the Soul become direct damage for their CMC, not the miracle cost.

Really, if Vial Smasher is out, every spell becomes a potential burn spell. Dash Hopes is either 2 damage plus a counter-spell or 7 damage for 2 mana. And, since it is used in Duel Commander, there is no randomization of the effect, there is only one opponent.

Akiri, Line-Slinger becomes an early presence on the board, and crews the vehicles if no one is available. She also goes nuts if Mycosynth Lattice hits the field, with Hellkite Tyrant waiting in the wings as a back-up win-con.
