Squee, the Immortal is a joke deck I built for fun that ended up turning into a combo deck with a ton of redundancy. Full Disclosure: The paper list I own is tuned for a playgroup mostly comprised of tuned non-competitive decks. That list can be found at Squeeze

Advice is welcome! I'm not much of a competitive player at all.

Squee is not a deck for those intoerested in winning every game at a competitive table. However, the deck can be a ton of fun to pilot, and the ability to combo off with a unique commander that everyone dismisses as casual jank is always an enjoyable feeling.
The basic idea of each combo line is to take advantage of infinitely casting Squee from the graveyard.

The initial combo idea is a 5 card combo, including Squee (Don't close the tab yet, I promise it gets better!) The other needed combo pieces are
  1. An Altar
  2. A "Cost Reducer"
  3. A "Token Maker"
  4. A Payoff
Let's say that you have your "Cost Reducer", Altar, "Token Maker", and Payoff on the battlefield, and Squee in the graveyard. The "Cost Reducer" makes Squee cost . You can cast Squee, creating another creature via the "Token Maker", then sacrifice both Squee and the token to the Altar for the needed to cast Squee once more. You have now demonstrated a loop that can kill the table with yourPayoff.
One of the most critical combo pieces for this deck is Phyrexian Altar. Our analogs for Phyrexian Altar are
  1. Ashnod's Altar + Gemstone Array/Prismite (cut from the list atm)
  2. Thermopod
The goal of this combo peice is to make Squee cost The cards that we can use to do this are
  1. Ruby Medallion
  2. Goblin Warchief
  3. Jhoira's Familiar
  4. Hazoret's Monument
  5. Runaway Steam-Kin
  6. Honor-Worn Shaku
The final step to being able to cast Squee infinitely is finding a way to make creatures whenever we cast him. The cards that fulfill this requirement for us are
  1. Genesis Chamber
  2. Desecrated Tomb
  3. Skyfire Phoenix
  4. Molten Echoes
  5. Oketra's Monument
  6. Anax, Hardened in the Forge
Sidenote: I love having a deck that actually wants Skyfire Phoenix.
Finally, we need a way to take advantage of casting Squee an infinite number of times. The cards that do this for us are
  1. Impact Tremors
  2. Aetherflux Reservoir
  3. Burning Vengeance
  4. Outpost Siege (cut from the current list)
  5. Purphoros, God of the Forge
  6. Pashalik Mons
  7. Goblin Sharpshooter
Part of what I love about Squee is that the combo the deck is centered around has so much redundancy. Not only does every category have multiple options, but cards like Honor-Worn Shaku, Runaway Steam-Kin, and Hazoret's Monument can work both as "Cost Reducers" and as payoffs.
Similar to Godo, Bandit Warlord decks, Treasonous Ogre makes Squee much stronger. With Treasonous Ogre, Aetherflux Reservoir, and any Sacrifice Outlet, Squee can be cast infinitely from the graveyard, with some setup.
At some point, the storm count becomes high enough that Aetherflux Reservoir nets positive life per casting of Squee. However, the amount of life needed to get to that point differs based on the current board state. The assumption for each of the following scenarios is that Treasonous Ogre, Aetherflux Reservoir, Squee and all other stated effects start on the battlefield.
With the current build, the only free sacrifice outlets are Phyrexian Altar, and Ashnod's Altar, both of which functionally make Squee cost or less. As such, looping Squee costs 6 life (for from Treasonous Ogre).
This loop requires 22 life.
Having multiple effects that produce whenever you cast Squee makes the Treasonous Ogre loop much easier. Having an effect that reduces generic costs and a Phyrexian Altar out makes Squee effectively cost , or 3 life via Treasonous Ogre.
This loop requires 7 life.
Having a Runaway Steam-Kin alongside an Ashnod's Altar also makes Squee effectively cost , or 3 life via Treasonous Ogre, but 3 red spells need to be cast first, to 'charge up' the Runaway Steam-Kin. Assuming the Runaway Steam-Kin is starting with 0 +1/+1 counters...
This loop requires 16 life.
The final sacrifice outlet in the current build is Skullclamp. While Skullclamp is arguably the best card in the deck for digging through a ton of cards, as a combo peice, it means that looping Squee with Treasonous Ogre and Aetherflux Reservoir costs , or 12 life through Treasonous Ogre. This is almost never a viable combo option.
This loop requires 79 life. However, if you are poised to win with Skullclamp, Treasonous Ogre, and Aetherflux Reservoir, eventually you can/must swap Skullclamp with an Altar to make the combo cheaper, and to make sure you don't deck yourself.
'Nuff Said. Unless I'm one or two cards away from a full combo, this is the card I always tutor for. Draws cards.
The nice thing about running quite a few looting effects is that any dead cards can be looted away for more options.
While Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Koth of the Hammer unfortunately didn't make the final cut for the deck, two walkers are still in the current build, adding to the deck's ability to grind out a longer game.
For the most part, these are cards that I like the idea of in the deck, but need to test or find space for. Some of them are in the list above, and can easily be considerations for cutting based on meta calls.

It is almost impossible to get an opening hand with a quick full combo. As such, key cards to look for in an opening hand are:

Once again, I'm not much of a competitive player, but I will update this list when niche cards come to mind.

As with most competitive decks, cards like The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale and Mana-Positive Rocks comprise the majority of the deck's cost, while not being entirely necessary for the deck to function. As of the making of this list, the paper deck I currently own (Squeeze) can be built for around $1000, and can easily be pared down even more. The core of the deck requires few expensive cards, with Phyrexian Altar and Aetherflux Reservoir being the most expensive combo peices. Cards like Imperial Recruiter, Wheel of Fortune, and Scroll Rack add consistency to the deck's game plan, but aren't necessary for making the deck function.

Sidenote: I'm starting to think that Tabernacle and Mox Diamond do not belong in the deck, since the deck doesn't run enough lands for the mox, and Tabernacle is pretty high variance. Both need testing, however.

I'm interested in considering Underworld Breach loops, both with Lion's Eye Diamond+Wheel of Fortune and Runaway Steam-Kin+Burning Inquiry
