Right when Rivals of Ixalan was released, I started to rub my hands and planned on building a (good) merfolk deck. But for many reasons, including the high price of Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca, I never had the opportunity to do so. The fish never had the opportunity to rise. Until today.

I've been sitting and waiting for the Merfolk hype to settle down so I could find the perfect time to strike. Looks like I found it.

Also, this deck survives the next rotation perfectly intact. But if you have any copies of Heroic Intervention, I would definitely put them in the deck to fight board wipes. They do not survive rotation though.
