Hello and welcome to this Pauper EDH deck featuring Gruun, the Lonely King. The King is fairly straightforward when it comes to dealing with outsiders. Ramp your way through the early game with ETB creatures, Sorcery based ramp, and the occasional Harrow until you play and pay tribute (aka kick) to Gruun, the Lonely King. Using our evasive auras, various equipment, and Trample damage it is very easy to one shot that chump across the table for doubting the rightful ruler. Since this is a mono green deck and what we do best is ramp we have also included a finisher package if the king inevitably becomes too expensive. Cards such as Eldrazi Devastator, Hand of Emrakul, and Ulamog's Crusher should help close the game out and cards such as Night Soil and Relic of Progenitus to prevent Peregrine Drake shenanigans from occurring.
