Arbor Colossus
- 6/6 for 5 mana, adds 3 devotion, and can become monstrous... oh by the way reach too.
Karametra's Acolyte - devotion ramp, with a fat ass. ;)
Witchstalker - Hexproof, 3/3, and gains power whenever they play a blue or black spell on my turn.
Elvish Mystic
- Turn one ramp, need i say
Nylea, God of the Hunt - Indestructible 4 drop that gives all my fatties trample? yes please.
Polukranos, World Eater - 4 drop 5/5, nice. Ability to potentially wipe away any threats and become huge? now we're talking.
Sylvan Caryatid
- hexproof, helps Axebane Guardian, and provides her own ramp.
Boon Satyr - great for placing on Witchstalker, Boosts devotion, and can be flashed in to destroy tougher creatures.
THE BEST FRIEND THAT ANYONE COULD HAVE
Garruk, Caller of Beasts - Provides a full hand full of creatures, puts my fatties out counter-proof, and if unchecked spells doom for your opponent.
SOME OTHER FUN THINGS
Golgari Charm - Since there's so many board wipes and spot removal are just the plague of standard right now, this card definitely has its use.
Flesh / Blood
- excellent card to end games quickly, if you get it early game, use
Blood
on one of the fatties to deal a hefty blow to your opponent. And late game,
Flesh
will set you up for a big hit not only with your creature, but with
Blood
as well.
Mana Bloom - good mana saver early on if I end up getting a crappy hand, or late game after drawing Garruk, Caller of Beasts and fill my hand with a bunch of fatties that wanna come out and play. Plus if i use all the mana off of it, and cast it again while Primeval Bounty is on the field, it's such a cheap way to pump up [[Gyre Sage
Primeval Bounty - Crazy good in this deck. Anything i play will most certainly shift the game in my favor.
Bow of Nylea - Extremely versatile, adds freaking deathtouch to all my attacking creatures! ( as if trample weren't enough) allows me to pump up Gyre Sage or any other creature i want, gives me life in a pinch, kills fliers, and lets me put some cards back in my deck from the graveyard. "Swiss Army Bow" for sure
