So after trying things with Gisela, Meren, and Ixidor, I may have finally come up with the one deck that personifies my play style the best. This is a spell-slinger/Voltron deck where all kinds of weird stuff can happen.

21 points of unblockable Commander damage? Sure.
Some ridiculous amount of damage from an animated, double-striking Myth Realized? Sometimes.
Playing sculpted chunks of my deck for free with Narset, Enlightened Master? Occasionally.
Cloning an opposing Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon or Bruna, Light of Alabaster and smashing face? Yep!
Some combination of all the above? Why the hell not?!

The idea here is to have multiple avenues of attack that can't necessarily be stopped by any one method or opposing play style/deck archetype. Flexibility and adaptability are the watch words with this deck.

Cantrips are the key for multiple reasons. If you can chew through more of your library, then you can more readily find what you need in a given situation. Taking that a step further, every cantrip makes Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest bigger and provides another opportunity to give him or another critter you have double strike. On top of that, you'll get a big enough graveyard to play Dig Through Time for ! ;)

Stay flexible and remain patient.

OUT: Abeyance, Ancient Tomb, Crimson Wisps, Exotic Orchard, Expedite, Hero's Blade, Muddle the Mixture, Peek, Relentless Assault, Remand, Reverberate, Seize the Day, Stubborn Denial, Sword of Vengeance, Time Warp, Wayfarer's Bauble

Most of those counterspells and instants weren't pulling their weight the way I wanted them, too. While I was happy with most of the equipment was fine, I have dialed back the reliance on Shu Yun to win slightly. I have a feeling that Ancient Tomb and Wayfarer's Bauble might make a comeback.

IN: Arcane Denial, Docent of Perfection  Flip, Dovin Baan, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Gitaxian Probe, Long-Term Plans, Mark of Fury, Negate, Ral Zarek, Sacred Foundry, Stratus Dancer, Swan Song, Tarnished Citadel, Temporal Trespass, Wash Out, Willbender

My love of morph critters knows no bounds. Willbender and Stratus Dancer have been useful and now I have enough morph creatures to bluff a bit. It doubly helps that they all have 1U morph costs! More planeswalkers came in to provide additional control elements. Dovin Baan and Ral Zarek have both exceeded my expectations. Elspeth could become Sun's Champion, but I'm not sure yet.
