As soon as I saw a shark bird spoiled in the upcoming set I had to find a way to break its mechanics. The way we achieve this is by running a copious amount of wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune. This way both of the partners are taking advantage of their triggers and we draw into more fuel. It wouldn't be a blue deck without a nice suite of counter spells to make the game that much more enjoyable. If people somehow have fun and resolve spells then we just blow it up with boardwipes and spot removal. One of the main down sides of the deck is focusing too much on our commanders. In order to mitigate our losses if someone deals with Shabraz or Brallin we use The Ozolith to keep the large amount of counters we accrue for another go.

• Drogskol Reaver + Shabraz, the Skyshark : draws your entire deck until you remove one of them or win the game with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries

• Wheel effects and Alms Collector , Narset, Parter of Veils or Hullbreacher: this will discard your opponents hands and let you ride into the sunset on a shark.

• A single wheel effect largely buffs both generals, gains you life, draws you cards to hit more wheels and deals damage to all opponents. It runs swimmingly.

• Shabraz, the Skyshark + Chandra's Ignition: flying shark goes BRRRRRrrrrt

Pro's:

• Completely negates discard strategies of your opponnents

• You never have to worry about having a lack of cards in your hand

• Wheeling will generally get you alot of removal/counter spells to deal with what people throw at you

• Having 2 generals that are both large threats is easier to get one of them to stick

Con's:

• A large amount of focus is placed on the generals and if they are both dealt with its harder to seal the win.

• People will gravitate towards attacking you for interacting with the cards in their hand
