Odric, Master Tactician EDH: All the King's Men

Commander / EDH Aggro Humans Lifegain Mono-White Soldiers Tokens

Shinwizzles

This is my attempt at a mono-white token deck. I found Odric, Master Tactician's ability really interesting, and pretty easy to use with only a few other creatures attacking. There's a few pieces of equipment in the deck to add in some extra punch like Argentum Armor, Godsend , Veteran's Armaments. Most of the other stuff in the deck is to either ramp up some mana like Caged Sun or Ashnod's Altar, or to help make a bunch of creature tokens.

There are plenty of good token generators in the deck, some of them are creatures, some of them are sorceries.Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Captain of the Watch, Darien, King of Kjeldor, and Hero of Bladehold are some of the best creatures to make tokens. You can use them to sac to Ashnod's Altar for the necessary mana for some of the higher cost spells like Martial Coup, Conqueror's Pledge, Deploy to the Front, or Increasing Devotion.

There's not an incredible amount of defense in the deck, other than sheer numbers. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite will beef up your creatures while weakening your opponents' entire field, which will deter some of the smaller attackers. Windborn Muse is also a decent method of defense, but is usually not enough by itself, especially because of its vulnerability. Aegis of the Gods will protect you from anything nasty aimed directly at you, but there isn't a whole lot of creature defense in the deck, other than the one-time Brave the Elements. Again, I was kind of going for sheer numbers and power over anything here. Other means of defense are the few removal or stalling spells in the deck like Oblation , Return to Dust, or Oblivion Ring. They've saved me in a pinch before, so I like to keep them in there, just in case.

Since there's a high possibility that you'll be generating a fair amount of tokens, I put Soul's Attendant and Soul Warden in there in hopes of gaining some life when creatures come in on anyone's side.

The deck is really pretty simple. Get a bunch of soldiers and such out, beef 'em up with stuff like Coat of Arms, Cathars' Crusade, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Mikaeus, the Lunarch. Swing as much as possible as often as possible with as many creatures as possible to get the most out of Odric, Master Tactician's ability, you might even kill them with commander damage if you attach Argentum Armor to him before attacking.

If there's anything that you think I missed, or anything you think shouldn't be in there, please say so. I'm always looking for advice on the deck. Thanks!
