Mono Black control/devotion in Modern

I wanted a huge end curve to abuse nykthos but with decks like Jund and uw based control decks in modern, it might not be possible to abuse nykthos as much as I would like. Demigod and obliterator do make Nykthos much better in modern than in standard and is primarily why I think it will be good.

I'm also still torn between the use of Gary and am thinking I should just be playing demigod over Gary. Have yet to playtest...
