Based on vintage ravager-shops, legacy prison-stompy and modern Modular-Scales Affinity this deck intends to quickly slow down the opponents gameplan then BEATS FACE to oblivion.

PRO'S Show

• Deapite being prettymuch all artifacts, much more resilient against hate versus affinity or Modular Affinity decks.

• Flexible, can play aggro, tempo or controll depending on the cards and matchup.

• Turn 1 lock pieces through fast mana can spell GG to some decks.

• Artifact hate is low in modern.

• Excess artifacts can be fed to various outlets.

• Resilient to removal mainboard.

• Laughs at boarded in Blood Moon .

• Tilts people into misplays.

• Being rogue causes people to sideboard poorly other than the obvious artifact hate.

CON'S Show

No access to colored spells.

Opponent will sideboard in every single artifact hate card they have.

Struggles against big mana creature decks like Eldrazi-Tron.

No proper removal.

Loss of friends... But that isn't really a problem lol.

Card Breakdown

Taxing the poor

Stack up these effects to cripple the common man or slow them down to a crawl.

• Lodestone Golem : Taxes any non-Artifact cards by 1. The entire deck is artifact based. Also a 4 turn clock by itself!

• Thorn of Amethyst : Taxes any non-Creature cards by 1. Most of the deck is creatures, but sequence cards properly then drop this early!

• Chalice of the Void : There is an intense amount of cards countered by Chalice on one. With some fast mana this almost counters entire decks!

• Tectonic Edge : GREED! Modern players have the greediest manabases. After tax use these to keep the land count low so they can never prosper.

Income-Tax

Fast mana on turn 1 gives the strongest shutdown plays, any excess mana lets us push through our own taxes or drop things a turn early.

- Simian Spirit Guide : The best way to get 2 mana turn 1. Best Lotus Petal impression we have.

- Gemstone Caverns : On the play, its just another Wastes . On the draw, potentially an extra land drop. For that juicy fast mana.

- Mox Opal : Play this to push through self inflicted harm or to drop multiple 2 drops a turn early. Also great fodder to Ravager.

The Corrupt ones

These will be the tools to out tempo and attack the opponent from multiple angles.

• Walking Ballista : Cast it early to kill dorks or relieve pressure.Cast it late to end games. Always remember to count for lethal with ravager synergies.

• Hangarback Walker : Sometimes a roadblock to chump for days, while other times takes a huge army to a clear victory. With ravager can give away a huge amount of counters.

• Arcbound Ravager : Helps with all in victories and semi-protects your stuff from spot removal.

• Inkmoth Nexus : A lil critter that goes through our taxes and evades some forms of removal. Very easy to buff to 10 with ravager

• Metallic Mimic : Lets you drop XX spells for free and gets hilarious with Servo and Thopter tokens.

• Steel Overseer : Synergizes amazingly with the above cards. Can take any of them to victories without much help!

• Welding Jar : Just some mainboard protection against removal!

How to Play

The decks flexibility lets you either start taxing heavily (remember to sequence properly or else you will be hurt too) or start playing similar to Hardened Scales affinity by playing Ballistas and Walkers.
