Maybeboard

A pox variant that uses decent creature damage that is swinging usually through an empty field to kill them as fast as reasonably possible, and the pox theme cards exist to set up the board for my heavy hitters (and factory workers heh) to swing for the win. If I can get out 2 5 power creatures, it can end games very fast, especially as they aren't the easiest creatures to deal with, removal-wise. Animate Dead is a fun card IMHO since I might force them to discard or sac a really great creature, and sneaking in my Titan for 2 mana, even at -1 power, is really a nice perk. I've animated utility creatures just to sneak into hand a Titan, and I have occasionally managed to discard a Titan for Small Pox, which I can then animate, I feel like between it's various weird abilities Titans end up being solid beaters, probably better than Rotting Regisaur.

This deck is a tad soft on lands, but x4 Phyrexian Totem and Dark Ritual can make the deck 'feel' pretty rampy. The 5/5 Trample body is actually pretty impressive, just watch out for Bolts! Honestly, this deck dislikes really fast and low to the ground decks like Burn. Then again, Burn tends to run 4 Bolts and very little Instant speed Burn, so early Discard can hurt them badly. Totem btw enables fun situations on Turn 1, it feels pretty good to go Ritual > Totem > Innocent Blood or Inquisition.

This deck can play very differently from game to game, with a great deal of potential inconsistency, but tends to have a big creature out sooner than other decks can deal with, or it keeps the field clear until it draws into one of 12 damage dealing options to actually win. I feel like 2 Arenas is enough, since I don't want to draw a 2nd after I've drawn one, though I'd love to get it out early more often. I think without Liliana of the Veil running 4 Arenas is just excessive.

So, Pox's Kjeldoran Outpost+ exsits, I love the idea of churning out army after army, and technically, this deck can have a creature presence forcing the opponent to chump Titans, so I might even satisfy it without having paid mana, the total of 4 mana needed to activate is a tad steep, but it's roughly the same as Outpost, since it didn't cost you a land forever. It's also a Legendary Land, so I don't think I'd run more than 1 or 2, but it not costing life makes it seem pretty solid. I'm not 100% sold on it yet, but it's very much worth thinking about.

In keeping with that, it'd be another truly great reason to replace my Crypt Rats with a Pestilence, a new Army token could keep it around, as could an Erebos' Titan (and I can use it with a Phyrexian Totem pre-activation safely).

Edit: Well, I tossed in 2 Pestilence and 2 Barad-Dur, I feel like I want only 1 Barad because it's rarely great and I almost never want to see a 2nd. Pestilence seems slow, but I haven't had it in a good hand yet (very little testing so far). I pulled 2 Swamps, Crypt Rats (goodbye dear friend!) and No Mercy. I'm not sure if I'll put back in 1 Swamp and No Mercy, but No Mercy is also a very playable Commander card in more Casual metas.

Edit: Well, Pestilence is pretty interesting in here, not sure if I really need x2 with only x4 true Creatures in the deck, but the effect can be really good in here so 'we'll see'. I still miss Crypt Rats and now want to build a Crypt Rats deck so they can shine on their own, but I don't have x4 Gift of Doom yet so 'we'll see' (again). I also already have a rat deck? Who knows, I just know that I want to see if I can make Crypt Rats do work still.
