This is my tribal demons deck. Rakdos, Lord of Riots is definitely most efficient as an artifact or eldrazi general since he can make your creatures totally free but I don't like doing the most common archetype for a deck or necessarily the most obvious or easy routes. Demons have high mana costs that in this deck are lowered via the general's static ability to only cost their colored mana costs. This makes the deck more fair, definitely more slow, really flavorful, and to me, more fun. I've tried to squeeze more demon-flavor in and would like to add more burn and things like Blasphemous Act, Bonfire of the Damned, Volcanic Fallout, Demonfire, and Banefire but just haven't found the space. This deck has been rebuilt a number of times but always as tribal demons, so maybe it's time to just build a second deck in truer as this deck mostly just splashes .

Also, many of the card choices going into this deck were made because they're personal favorites and contribute to high devotion for Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Abhorrent Overlord.
