Gerrard's Purpose

• Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Loyal Retainers

  Activate Loyal Retainers, target Gerrard, and use any sac outlet to kill him.

  Resolve Loyal Retainers's ability first, return Gerrard to the battlefield.

  Then resolve Gerrard's ability to return all the permanents you sac this turn.

• Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Hellkite Courser

  Easy, sac as many as you want including Gerrard and Hellkite Courser

  Gerrard's ability resolved put him into the command zone.

  Hellkite Courser ETB triggered, bring Gerrard back too.

Or the backup plan, Eggs!

• Ardent Elementalist + Ashnod's Altar + Faith's Reward and another creature like Patron of the Arts

• Living Lightning + Phyrexian Altar + Second Sunrise and other two creatures.

Introducing The Cannons

1. Phyrexian Altar King of all altars, the color mana ability is the key to many combos.

2. Ashnod's Altar Mana-ability is almost unstoppable, the second best altar.

3. Goblin Bombardment No mana require, easy to go infinite. Sac creatures as many as you want.

4. Blasting Station It auto untap with some creature like Reveillark and our commander.

5. Makeshift Munitions Gerrard also returns our artifacts, sac some mana rock will pay you the price.

6. Skullclamp 1/1 sac outlet. Not like other Skullclamp decks, we don't need to be 1/1 tribal.

7. High Market it's a land.

Some Artifacts can sacrifice themselves.

Or Creatures with Echo or Evoke.
