The Idea of the Deck is to swarm the field with Vampires and make them grow with Anthems such as Legion Lieutenant and Stromkirk Captain, whilst we swarm the field quickly and beat our opponents with our Legion of Vamps!

Hello all!

Back again with another VERY satisfying update for Edgar. It does kinda suck I'm removing some of the red, but MAN if this isn't a shot in the arm for all of the White....

Bishop of Rebirth ----------------------> Dusk Legion Duelist:

More draw, lower curve... And I don't need to recur as much. Usually, I just need to draw cards way more then recurring them. With Edgar especially making it easy to get those counter to draw cards, it just makes the deck run smoothly.

Olivia Voldaren ----------------------------> Mondrak, Glory Dominus:

MORE TOKENS! The almighty Dominus crashes in and just advances the strategy of this entire deck, acting as a second Anointed Procession that can become indestructible... Olivia IS really good late game, but I just think that Mondrak provides such overwhelming value that its worth swapping in.

Plains ---------------------> Minas Tirith:

I mean... More card draw, likes go wide, and I have plenty of legendary creatures.... Seems good to me.

Vampire Nocturnus -------------------> Flowering of the White Tree:

Yea... I do not have top deck manipulation outside of Viscera Seer and just raw card draw. Not counting lands, 35% of the deck is not black. Counting lands, that means that AT LEAST 50% of the deck is not black. Realistically, Vampire Nocturnus's effect just doesn't go off, or I need to draw cards and then lose the ability.... and The White tree costs half, always buffs my creatures, AND gives my legendary creatures ward 1, which is not irrelevant in todays high interaction commander environment.
