I really like Derevi as a commander, but not so much playing stax in commander, so inspired by Derevi Wizardball i've tried to brew a more casual (and budget) version keeping the wizard and removing the ball.

This deck is more centered around tap/untap effects to generate value and in the end win comboing off or locking your oppoonents.

• Derevi, Empyrial Tactician is good for a million reason: she let us generate mana, particularly via Basalt Monolith and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, she is a wizard, we can put her on the battlefield at instant speed, we like all this things.

• We run Aphetto Alchemist, Kiora's Follower and Fatestitcher as untap outlets, these last two are particularly good given that we can use them to untap Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or the bounce lands.

• Murkfiend Liege and Quest for Renewal untap our creatures, Wilderness Reclamation untap our lands, and card:Seedborne Muse untap everything; we like to tap stuff? Yes. We like to tap stuff 3 times more than usual? Absolutely.

• Riptide Director and Azami, Lady of Scrolls let us turn all our wizards in card draw, obviously Azami is better becouse we can use her as soon as she enters the battlefield.

• Leyline of Anticipation is amazing if we haveWilderness Reclamation or card:Seedborne Muse, if we have some card draw engine we can basically play a turn during each opponent's turn.

• Stonybrook Schoolmaster is a power house in this deck, if we have Intruder Alarm, card:Sorcerer's is infinite damage and Cryptolith Rite is infinite mana, at instant speed, every turn.

• Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir is good for the same reason Leyline of Anticipation is, and has the upside of not letting our opponents to interfere in our plans.

• Glen Elendra Archmage + Sage of Fables is infinite negate for .

• Derevi, Empyrial Tactician + Voidmage Prodigy is infinite counterspell for , yeah that's a lot of mana, but we can get there; Voidmage is still veeeery good and we also have Ertai, Wizard Adept that play a similar role in not letting our opponents cast anything.

• Patron Wizard let us tap a wizard to Force Spike, with an untapper like on the field Quest for Renewal is amazing.

• Opposition and Galecaster Colossus in the same way as Patron Wizard these cards let us lock our opponents, if these two sticks on the field is an easy win.
