Tap to your heart's content with Derevi and prevent any interaction in your playgroups; encouraging your friends to stop interacting with you. This deck will have the table question their life choices and frustrate newer players. If you're willing to throw your precious drug money into magic cards, then this should make an interesting distraction from the usual EDH experience. This shouldn't by any means be your 1st decklist.

We have several tutors at our disposal to select the hatebear needed when the opportunity arises.

• Flash Aven Mindcensor to deny tutors. Respond to a fetchland trigger for an instant speed Stone Rain !
• Flash Containment Priest to exile win cons that are cheated into play.
• Ethersworn Canonist stops storm or infinite combos that require sequencing.
• Flash Hushwing Gryff to prevent enter the battlefield effects. This unfortunately affects Derevi.
• Fortunately, Linvala, Keeper of Silence prevents only our opponents from activating abilities.
• Ulvenwald Tracker is primarily used to destroy our opponents' pesky mana dorks. It can also return Derevi if she's ever stolen.

It's normal for a deck like this to have several "nonbos," or cards that shouldn't be played together, but we do have a few synergies which allows for some interesting plays.

• Stasis , Hokori, Dust Drinker , Winter Orb , or Static Orb can soft lock your opponents if Derevi is used to tap their lands on your damage step. A potential hard lock if you also have Trinisphere and Collector Ouphe , Stony Silence , or Null Rod .

• Choose 3 with Sanctum Prelate when Gaddock Teeg is in play to prevent most sweepers from being cast. Choose 1 if you anticipate spot removal in your meta.

• If you copy Archon of Valor's Reach with Sakashima the Impostor you can choose both "instant" and "sorcery" to prevent the most common forms of removal from ever being cast.

• You can mitigate combat damage with Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist if your meta demands it. Put Derevi onto the battlefield before attackers are declared, using her trigger to tap Mirri if needed. Block their one attacking creature with Derevi. Rinse and repeat for each opponent attacking you.

Consider including Mox Diamond , Gaea's Cradle , Living Plane , Land Equilibrium , and Timetwister . Personally, I'd rather not risk damaging cards that expensive through continuous play. Just keep them in a binder to preserve their minty condition and sell them when you get the chance. I also excluded Tropical Island and Tundra .
