The Abzan Lands deck takes a while to get going, but once you're able to get the Life of the Loam and cycle lands engine going, you're going to be drawing a lot of cards and playing a lot of lands.

You want to get an Exploration or Oracle of Mul Daya in play with a Courser of Kruphix, and then you'll be able to get through your deck very quickly. This allows you use your removal spells to set up a defense against opponents that are trying to kill you before your engine is fully operational.
